The staff were friendly and the hotel lobby was very nice.
The hotel listing says parking, in actual fact this hotel has no parking and no affiliation with a local car park. Lyon as a city has parking and this is what they mean when they list the hotel as having parking. The hotel bathroom was really poor, the shower wasn't attached the wall, just wound round the bath tap in a makeshift fashion. The lobby was really nice but the rooms are bathrooms are extremely dated and not in step with the rest of the hotel.

I liked the lobby- nice area to sit , reception/ breakfast staff very helpful and friendly Breakfast buffet had nice selections and staff would make cappuccino!Location great close to Bellecour . The two rooms we booked were disappointing- stained orange shag carpet and black wall covering - bathroom okay - stepped up to the shower / toilet We planned to stay for a night a week later and asked if we could have another room told no unless we paid for an upgrade! Very disappointed and found another hotel .

Great area and easily accessible to trains and local shops and cafes. Enjoyed my stay there as a solo traveler.
The lift sometimes felt like it took ages to get to the floor, but usually due to someone not closing the door completely on one of the floors below you or at ground level.
