Room was clean and ac worked perfectly Location was nice and overall the hotel looked nice. Dog friendly and dog bed, plates and treats ready in room upon arrival.
Unfriendly staff at the bar area No towels in the pool area until I asked for them and there they first suggested to get my robe from the room Pool was full of flowers and dead bees and they only cleaned it late the next morning Breakfast expensive Not the service you would expect at a 4 star hotel Spa is nothing special

The location and the pool
We arrived at 15.15 (check in 15.00) to be told our room wasn't ready and that we could wait in the bar area and have a drink or snacks. After complaining we were given a room.

The location in a green and quiet environment. The cloister is nice to have breakfast or a drink. Rooms are functional. Fourvière is beautiful.
For the price, you’d expect service to be more proactive. The jacuzzi didn’t work and the lady couldn’t help us. The swimming pool area with the sunbeds behind the uplifted pool is a bit odd.

It is a really nice hotel. It has a beautiful facility. It's a really nice pool outside and a great area to chill. The prices for the bar are a little bit high, I would say, but still you are in beautiful surroundings and the service is great.
I didn't like the part when we were there, when there was a car racing company staying. In the morning they were very loud with their cars but other than that the cars were really beautiful so I kind of enjoyed it as well.

Situated on top of a hill overlooking the rest of Lyon this converted cloister was a beautiful stop. Their spa facilities were wonderful and the grounds beautifully kept. Their on site Michelin rated restaurant was a delightful gastronomic experience and one of the best meals of our trip. A bit far from the city center but the views from the heights were worth it.
Slightly far away from the main attraction areas but very close to a couple of wonderful sites.

We loved the style of the property, which is a former monastery/convent with cloisters which kept us cool in the recent heatwave. Beautiful gardens and a long thin pool with sunbeds and lounger chairs. Our room was comfortable and the staff helpful. A peaceful oasis located up the steep hill from Lyon old town but 7 minutes’ walk to the funicular by the Basilica and 3 minutes’ trip down to the heart of the old town.
Nothing we disliked! Maybe the bar/restaurant could improve its organisation/service a little on busy nights such as last Sunday, but we really enjoyed our stay. A kettle in the room as well as the coffee machine would have been nice.

The hotel was in a beautiful setting, the rooms were just the right size, beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the spa and the pool. Also, the bar was cozy and the food and drinks were delicious. Also, the hospitality and reception were amazing first impressions!
We didn’t have a great experience coming home from dinner the first evening between the St Just funicular station and the hotel, it was before dark and still unsafe. We decided to stay at the hotel for dinner on our second night. Not the hotels fault just an unfortunate event.
