The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was sizeable and the bathroom clean
there was tea, there was chocolate... but no coffee in the room ? weird

To be honest, I didn't like anything, no matter what price I paid.
I am a big fan of hotels, I vacation in different hotels in different countries once a month, and this was the only hotel I booked and everything was very bad ! And now I'll tell you what you'll find in this hotel.
✔ Although they have check-in after 3:00 PM, we arrived after 4:00 PM and the rooms were still not ready and we had to wait.
✔ They ask you to leave a deposit, which is not stated on the public Booking page, we were asked to leave a deposit of 350 euros, which was unexpected, and we were also surprised when we found out that the cost of water in the room was 30 euros
✔ The heating system in none of the rooms worked, it was very cold and we slept with our coats on the first night. They have set the maximum temperature to 24 degrees which you cannot change and this is not enough to heat the room. They do nothing to solve this problem and will convince you that 24 degrees is a warm temperature in winter when you have to sleep with your clothes on. Instead, they offer electric heaters. It is ridiculous, but I paid 1600 euros in a hotel where we were heated with an electric heater.
✔ Also, they don't return the deposit on time, we left this cold hotel 4 days ago and they still haven't returned the deposit and they don't respond to my messages, I'm sure they will write to me after reading this message)

The hotel was well located for our purposes and easy to access by bus from the main train station. Frontdesk staff was very kind and professional.
We had some plumbing issues in our bathroom, though the hotel personnel was very apologetic and gracious about it. The bed was also not comfortable- poorly made, and with a layer of plastic covering (only on one of the two mattresses, oddly enough) under the sheets that made a strange noise and simply didn't feel nice- seemed rather unjustified and certainly inconsistent with our expectations!
We also had to wait quite a long time to be seated for breakfast, which was chaotic and poorly managed by the hostess who was clearly out of her depth and not well trained for the circumstances.

We deliberately chose this location as it is next to a car park that is tall enough to take SUVs - not easy to find in the old part of Lyon so we took a chance on using local transport. This is a conference hotel, but it worked really well. Despite there being a large conference at the time the check in was smooth, the staff more than helpful and there were always plenty of them. Everyone down to the staff who cleared the plates in the restaurant seemed keen we had a good experience. The hotel was clean, quiet, well maintained and just 50m from the bus stop where we could take advantage of Lyon’s amazing integrated transport system. Another 5 metres and you’re into a lovely big park

Location to park very nice, and yet very easy to reach the old city and the train station.
Noise heard in room started very early in morning, other room doors closing very loudly.

We had a fantastic stay at Crowne Plaza Lyon – the staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and spotless, and the king-size bed was wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with plenty of choice, and the location couldn’t have been better – right across the road from a beautiful, large park and just steps from the bus stop. The big shower was a real highlight, and everything was kept impeccably clean. Overall, an excellent experience that we’d happily recommend.

As we were driving they could do with a sign that directs you to the underground car park as you are unable to pull up outside the hotel.

It’s a great location, with ample parking and easy access to public transport.

close to the park and restaurant, clean room, comfy beds and pillows, soundproof, plenty of underground parking lots, compliment fruits and filtered water
During our stay, we left a bag of donuts opened and we lost one or two donuts. But our other valuables stayed untouched.
