The hotel is beautiful but some rooms are extremely dangerous except for the able bodied. I had two steps up to my wash basin, another step up to ghd shower, yet another step led to a staircase to a mezzanine floor containing the bed. The toilet was situated at the entrance to the room, necessitating a perilous journey to the loo at night ! Very badly designed. The two chairs faced the room safe and a blank wall. The huge tv was on the mezzanine so you watched tv in bed or not at all. No bedside tables, no chair and nowhere except the floor to put clothes you took off !

Great location, charming architecture, cool pictures on the walls everywhere, lovely and helpful front desk staff and valet service impeccable. Breakfast was very good quality.
Restaurant staff : breakfast and dinner absolutely not properly trained. Evening restaurant meal SCANDALOUSLY overpriced and truly NOT worth the money! Overall feeling : It’s a 4 star hotel disguising as 5 star. Damp smell in the rooms. SPA was a joke, pool quite cold. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Good location, beautifully designed room, excellent staff, everything was very clean. Cosy wooden floors. We appreciated the coffee and tea supplies in the room. Great cocktails at the bar.
Impossible to open the windows so there is no fresh air in the room and it’s hard to sleep. We booked the hotel for the spa facilities only to find out upon arrival that the hammam was actually closed for maintenance.

Location is perfect in old Lyon. Architecturally fascinating. Quiet. Nice bar. Friendly staff.
Can’t open bedroom window, even just a little to let fresh air in. After a couple of showers, the roof gets a bit humid. Safe is in the cupboard but effectively on the floor requiring user to be on all fours to operate.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cour de Loges. From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing. From the reception staff at check-in to Tanya the fantastic bartender who made delicious cocktails to Cecile in hotel restaurant Le Comptoir all the staff were warm, welcoming, friendly and very professional which made our stay exceptional.
The room was very comfortable, clean and super quiet and we loved it. There was a stocked mini bar as well as complimentary water and tea and coffee making facilities. The only downside in the room is that there were not enough hooks in the room to hang coats and towels. Only 2 small hooks in the bathroom so this could be improved.
The cocktail bar was very relaxing and the cocktails absolutely delicious. We at Le Comptoir restaurant at the hotel and the food was fantastic as was the service and very reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel.
The spa at the hotel was adequate with a nice pool and hammam and sauna- but our experience was spoiled by 2 kids diving and jumping into the pool and screaming and running around. It might be worthwhile making the spa adults only after 5pm so guests can relax in peace! The spa was unattended by staff and there were alot of used towels lying around and the floor was incredibly slippery in slippers and I almost fell over twice so be careful.
But despite these small issues we can't recommend this hotel enough. It was a fantastic place to stay, close to the shops, bars and cafés. We will definitely stay here again as we often travel to the south of France.
The room needed more hooks for hanging coats and towels as there were only to in the bathroom.
Spa needed a bit of tidying up as floor very slippery and rather messy for a 5 star hotel.

Nothing went well, we were shown a room which is not what I thought I had booked.
The room was a joke, we checked out only to be told we were being charged and the hotel was reselling the room
We waited 45 mins for our car to be returned
