Excellent location in Vieux Lyon, perfect for sightseeing. Charming, creative interior design with a unique atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming reception staff. Pleasant overall vibe, good for a short city trip. Complimentary earplugs provided for light sleepers
Officially 4*, but comfort level below many other four-star hotels (e.g., Austrian standards). Rooms can be quite noisy; windows have weak insulation. Room door tricky to open, and the door squeaks. Bathroom is basic, with another squeaky door. Staff’s English is limited.

Excellent location to visit many sites. All walkable. Stayed 3 nights and we were able to visit numerous places. Close to Bouchon Chez Chabert which was excellent but had made reservations 3 weeks prior. Good breakfast and friendly staff. We liked how they kept some of the dormitory furnishings.

Great hotel, great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the quirky, old school (literally) style. The view from the window was also amazing!
The shower over bath was awkward- but easily fixed by having baths instead!
