The noise (music) outside started pounding away at 9 pm and it was very very loud and lasted past midnight. That was the reason for the low rating. It was past midnight before I could sleep. He said i. The morning that lots of people complain about it.

Great spot but difficult to drive in with a car - easy to miss the turning and need to drive all the way up and around Lyon tinget back again! Super easy walk to Old Lyon…food and drink aplenty nearby.
Everything very good. Quaint old school with a breakfast among the best I’ve had on my travels. Car park while very convenient was expensive and difficult to get in and out! Managed it eventually!

As my taxi driver said it was an excellent location for exploring the old city .
It wasn't the best for transport links which was a bit of a drag as I tried to pack a lot in.

Small boutique hotel in historic center, steps from Gare Sant Paul. Easy walk to funicular to visit Basilica Notre Dame and lots of cafes and restaurants. Young reception staff fluent in English very helpful. Unusual decor reminiscent of a school interesting, lobby decorated as an old library and very comfortable old leather seating and lots of books.

The location was good
The bathroom shower was dirty There was mold in the corners and between the tiles.
The breakfast buffet ran out before 8:00 AM, and we had to keep asking if there would be more bread or other options.
