Location, staff, cleanliness, kitchenette.
Bathroom door opens to the bedroom with zero soundproofing, good for a single person, not so great for a couple.

Location is perfect. Maybe 15 minutes by foot from Lyon Part-Dieu train station, and 2-3 from the T1 Tram stop and the Metro. Short tram ride to Lyon Perrache, the stop you need for going up or down the Rhone. Lots of velo'v stations around. Near lots of good food, including at Les Halles and atop the Westfield mall, 'les tables' as well as a giant Carrefour.
The air conditioner works well, although is a bit loud even on the lowest setting.
The kitchenette is well-stocked, with more than one knife, cutting board, dishes, etc as well as soap, a sponge and drying towel. We used it mainly for breakfasts.
The beds are comfortable and new and the duvets were summer weight
Tiny negatives: Ok it's under construction. Honestly, not that disruptive.
The large plates and the knives don't fit into the dishwasher (which is a kind of cool/weird half-height thing).
If you don't watch out, it's easy to get a lot of water on the floor when showering. I realized after the first time and adjusted.

We arrived as a group of eight young people with darker skin tones. The woman who received us seemed uncomfortable and was not friendly toward us at all, to put it mildly. I paid a lot of money for this hotel, and I expect to be welcomed warmly and treated with respect.

Lyon was a one night stop between trains from the Swiss Alps to the Haute-Provence, and for that this studio was excellent. It was the nicest studio I could find within a reasonable distance from the train station. The staff were friendly, the room was simple and cozy and had all we needed in a kitchenette and bathroom. We especially appreciated the fridge for our traveling food. The breakfast was substantial with a pleasant breakfast room. My partner found a nearby friendly outdoor restaurant open late with pomme frittes so he was happy. The building is on a pedestrian walkway and triangle park which was nice.
The location was not ideal for us because there were not enough restaurants in easy walking distance. I had a cold and it was hard to find a nearby restaurant with soup - only a Thai restaurant had it! It was also not clear if Ubers could come to the front door, as it was located on a pedestrian walkway. One pulled up and one would not. Just an issue when it is raining, which it was. The neighborhood was underwhelming as there were no historic buildings close by, few restaurants, and it was not that close to the train station. Still, it was fine for what we needed.

the facility overall is outdated. the room didn't have AC so we struggled our first day but the front desk staff helped getting us a portable AC which helped tremendously.

Parking onsite, good neighborhood with some nice restaurants, Boucuse market across the street, free hot beverages.
No air conditioner in the room, not very comfortable bed.
