Campanile Lyon Center - Berges du Rhône offers free WiFi access. It is just a 2-minute walk from the Guillotière Metro Station and an 8-minute drive from the Part-Dieu Train Station. Set over 8 floors, rooms at Campanile are decorated in a simple style and feature air conditioning. Please note that only the TV in the bar broadcasts satellite channels and Canal+. Very Good
It was a great location—quick walk to the river, close to restaurants, cafes, and transit. Staff was friendly and we were able to drop our luggage off ahead of check-in. Great value.
Not the hotel’s fault— but just be cautious near the Guillotière tram stop.

Breakfast was delicious, a lot to choose from. Easy access to the Metro. The lounge and bar adjacent to the check-in desk was a pleasant place to relax.
Only two accessible outlets in the room, and neither of them near the beds. No nightstands at any of the 3 beds. No lighting near the 3rd bed. Only one short towel bar and one hook in the bathroom, so one bath towel had to hang to dry in the bedroom. Nowhere to hang hand towels.

Cheap and affordable rates. Location was central. Room was basic and reasonable for the price paid.

On our first night stay, there was an alarm around 01:30 AM. Everybody woke up and evacuated. When we went to the ground floor, the receptionist informed us that it was a false alarm due to burned bread from the toaster.

Honestly it was not what I expected it to be. It is written hotel in the center - yes it is but in such dirty amd scary street with vomit on the street and broken bins.
We actually did not like it at all.
