Great location, we walked everywhere; lovely staff who were very helpful with directions and suggestions; beautifully decorated - didn't opt in for breakfast but the dining room looked lovely at first glance.
A minor complaint as it didn't reduce our enjoyment of the stay but the room was very dimly lit with warm bulbs so we had to open our drapes and windows to brighten the room enough to read and keep jetlag away! This then left our room visible to the dining room and other rooms across the building courtyard

Beautiful traditional elegance and warm helpful staff. The breakfast was exceptional and the location ideal.
The room was a little dark and the outlook a bit shabby. However that did not detract from my stay particularly.

Love, love, love this place! Stunning room looking out over the Place Bellecour set up in a way that made you feel like you had time travelled back to the 19th Century, but with extra comforts. The staff are just wonderful and have many helpful tips to help you make the most of your stay in Lyon. The location was perfect for us, just on the other side of the river from the old town. Not too busy, not too quiet, and close enough to excellent restaurants and cafes. Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tranquil space with loads of individual style.
It should be noted that the reception is on the first floor and the elevator only goes from the first floor up. This was not a problem for us, but it would be good to let more infirm people know that they can leave their bags at the front door, and reception will help you get them up.

So chic and full of charm. Comfortable and close to everything. Attentive staff round the clock.
The open shower/ bathroom was a little unconventional and everything gets wet.

We were welcomed warmly by Stefania, who was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast was outstanding in its variety and quality of food. Our room was very peaceful at night with no noise, and the bed was very comfortable. Our bathroom had a good walk-in shower and separate toilet. The air-conditioning worked well.
The room was very dark even with curtain open and lights on. Better lights were needed, especially as the walls and fixtures were all dark colours. Reception is on the first level, and the elevator starts from there. You need to carry suitcases up 2 flights of stairs from ground level.

The location was superb. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good. The place itself was quirky. The shower was good, and clean
I would have preferred to have a lounge and/or bar. There was nowhere really to sit and relax, and while we were there it was quite rainy so it would have been nice o have had a lounge to sit for a while. There were 2 seats in the reception area which one could use but it was almost like sitting in a corridor.
The bed was right up against the window which made getting out of it onn that side a bit difficult, especially in the middle of the night.
The hotel was quirky with a character all of its own. Some would love it but my personal preference would be for a more modern place.

Wonderful
Beautifully decorated room that feels like 18th century. Clean and comfortable. Great location at the Bellecour square, close to beautiful restaurants.
The room was quite small, which made maneuvering with a suitcase a bit of a hassle
