We loved the large room and comfortable bed & pillows. The bathroom and shower were big and clean - good water pressure. No weird smells. The staff was super helpful and kind. Very close to the metro and loads of restaurants, boulangeries and supermarkets nearby.
We arrived an hour early hoping to be able to check-in but we had to wait until 2pm - for our room and parking. Fair enough. Our room was quite humid (no fan in bathroom). The toilet seat was broken, so it pinched us every time we used it. Not fun! Also, we had a cappuccino from the lobby machine (while waiting for check-in) and it was basically hot milk, no coffee in it what so ever. For 2.50eur, not cool.

Clean, comfortable room. Room was quiet even though it overlooked the busy street outside. Very friendly and welcoming reception upon arrival.

This area of Lyon is currently undergoing a large construction project. It's a bit difficult maneuvering on foot with luggage from Lyon Part Dieu train station.Some late night street noise is heard in room.

Although I requested a parking reservation two months in advance, the reservation was made not in the hotel's underground parking but in a nearby parking lot. Reaching the hotel from there was very difficult — we had to walk to the hotel and climb three floors with our luggage. The parking access time was the same as the hotel check-in time. I requested to enter the parking lot one hour earlier than the official check-in time, but this was not accepted. However, when I arrived, the parking lot was completely empty.
Despite not allowing me to enter the parking lot an hour earlier, the hotel was unable to check me in at 14:00 due to high demand, and I could only check in at 15:00. There were around 30 people waiting in line, but only one staff member at the reception.
The room had mold in the bathroom and around the window edges.
The walking route from the hotel to the old town did not feel safe. Especially during the evening hours, my spouse and I felt very uncomfortable. Groups of people from various backgrounds were loitering in the streets in a way that felt intimidating.
