The room is very nice and clean with a small kitchen - at the reception they even gave us the dish-washing kit (sponges, dishwashing liquid etc). There are different services which you may take (e.g. laundry, desserts).
The hotel itself is located nearby a metro station which leads directly to Lyon center (around 10 min ride).
Breakfast is very fulfilling and tasty.
Not a complaint to the Odalys staff but to other fellow guests - please wash dishes (provided by the hotel) thoroughly before you leave, this is clearly stated in the hotel rules. We had to wash dirty dishes (glasses smelled some beverage and there were dried stains on forks) after previous guests. The fact that you do not wash dishes properly shows your attitude towards other people. Please be more humane.
To the hotel stuff - please pay more attention to how cutlery and dishes are washed when you inspect rooms after check-out.

While the location isn't central, there are metro and tram stations nearby which get you directly there in around 25 minutes. The apartment is comfortable, spacious, and cheap compared to other available options.
If you book less than a week, they don't clean the room, which I find a bit long, and they're stingy about towel changes. The dishwashing kit is extra charge.

The hotel is not in the center city but you have a good connection by the metro.
Also there were a lot of parking spaces around the building (if you arrive in the weekend)

The proximity to the metro is great to get around the city.
If you travel by car and you are lucky and there are enough spots, you can safely park your car outside the hotel. Otherwise you can use the fairly priced parking of the hotel.
The bathroom was clean but needs a renovation soon.

Close to the metro station (only a 5-minute walk).
Plenty of free parking nearby, so there's no need to pay the €12 per day for the hotel's underground parking.
The bed was very hard, which is not ideal if you suffer from back issues or pain.
No complimentary water was provided. No boiler.
No complimentaa" or standard "Instant Coffee".
The room was not cleaned on the second day, despite the "Make My Room" sign being displayed.
Towels were not changed on the second day.
The magnetic room key did not work on the second day: but they promptly replaced it.

Nichts ist mir gefallen. Schlechteste Erfahrung habe ich beim diesen Hotel gemacht.
I booked a double room for two guests at Odalys City Lyon BioParc. The room had two beds, but the hot water supply was insufficient for two people. After one person showered, the hot water ran out, leaving the second person with shampoo in their hair and no hot water.
When we called reception for assistance, the receptionist told us to wait one or two hours for the water to heat up again. Upon further inquiry, he became sarcastic and dismissive, eventually threatening to evict us if we called again, and then hung up the phone.
Later that night, at 4:35 AM, I received an anonymous call after reporting the incident through Booking.com’s chat. The next day, when I asked for the manager’s email to escalate the issue, the receptionist refused and again threatened eviction.
During our stay, the only written response we received was via Booking.com’s chat, where the receptionist accused me of being dismissive but failed to specify how. No manager followed up before our departure.
After our stay, we received a generic marketing email offering a discount for a future stay and encouraging us to leave a TripAdvisor review, but our actual complaints were never addressed.
We also sent two registered letters to the hotel’s headquarters, which were confirmed delivered after 12 days, yet we received no response.
Additionally, Booking.com staff attempted to contact the hotel regarding our complaints but received no response.
This experience left us feeling unsafe and disrespected. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Disappointing experience due to unprofessional service and inaccurate room description
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay. I had booked a family room for four people, which was clearly described as having one double bed in the bedroom and either two single armchairs or a double sofa bed in the living room. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we found two single beds in the bedroom and an unusual, uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room — a clear deviation from what was advertised.
Although we decided to stay due to the short duration of our two-night reservation, this experience was far from acceptable.
Additionally, I was quite surprised by the lack of basic courtesy from the staff. This was the first place I have visited in France where we were not even greeted with a simple “hello.” Such behavior does not meet the standards one would expect from a hospitality establishment.
