We liked the unique design of the hotel, definitely different. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and good coffee. Bath had a jacuzzi which was nice, shower cubicle too.
Toilet was separate to the bathroom and no hand washing facility, had to go to the bathroom to wash hands so touching door handles etc. room was cold until the bathroom radiator had chance to warm up the entire room. Coffee machine thing was no good for those who like tea.

1. Very close to the train station and tourist spots 2. Helpful and hospitable staff, especially the male staff member at the reception who cared to keep the main door open for me after the late ‘light show’ 3. Able to keep baggages before and after arrival
The shower floor is quite slippery when wet.

Great location, a short walk from the train station.
Some issues with the air conditioning unit. We showed up and the room was showing to be 28c despite the air conditioning unit being set to 18c. The room was actually hotter than it was outside. We had to sleep in a very hot and uncomfortable room the first night before being switched. Management wasn’t around to address it and only messages was left for them. Once we switched rooms, it was a lot better. Also items were broken in the room and not fixed such as a night light.

The hotel is a simple 8-minute walk from the train station and central to everything we wanted to see. The hotel is a clever combination of an old hotel and an adjacent, never-consecrated chapel that had been used as a rope workshop before eventually being converted into the hotel. The breakfast was the best we have had in several weeks of touring in France. This is the hotel we will return to.
There are no hanging closets (typical of old hotels in France) and the room was small enough that the electric kettle was stored in the cupboard. But we have certainly stayed in smaller rooms in Europe.

The location is excellent, just a street back from the harbour, lots of bars and restaurants nearby and only a short walk from the Aquarium. The front desk is 24 hour with friendly staff. Rooms are large with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are very large, almost too large, could probably fit another bath in the bathroom.
Not very soundproofed, bit of noise from the corridor, although effort has clearly been taken in the regard with dividing doors in the hall. The single beds in the twin rooms have quite small duvets, I found myself struggling to stay under it most of the night.
