Great simple hotel -- spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds, good shower and quite until 8am when the church went mad ha ha.
The restaurant is fantastic and we enjoyed a top class meal in this little village - a real treat.

It had a roof to keep you dry
Dull, drab, cramped bedroom straight out of a 1970s motel. Vinyl floor, painted over wall paper, no pictures to brighten up the room. Two paper cups (old lipstick on one) with one tea bag and one coffee sachet, no milk or UHT.

Hotel welcomed our dogs.
Restaurant was flexible and accommodated our slightly later than expected arrival.
Kettle in the room was appreciated.
Shower was good.
Plenty of parking.
Not enough charging sockets in the room.
Bed was bit hard.

There are not many hotels in the area so I was glad of this one on the E2 / GR5 long distance path with an open restaurant attached. Good sized room with all I needed although a little dated. Breakfast started early which I appreciated as I had a long way to walk.
Unclear where the reception is, not under the hotel sign but in the restaurant, a separate building. Forgot my drink order in the restaurant at diner but otherwise the food and service was good.

This is a basic, clean and functional hotel, nothing fancy. The restaurant is very good. Both the hotel and restaurant are the only ones in the village and for miles around too. For GR5 walkers, this is the place! Staff is nice too.
