The toilet was is terrible state, shower facilities where horrible! Water filtered to tje carpet in the room, not curtain in the bathroom and not proper door just a curtain. Perhaps the pictures on the website is not 1% real any similarly to the real place is horrible! Smells bad,

Ali, the man working there, was super helpful and kind. We don't speak French, but he put up with our terrible Spanish for working through details. The value of the hotel and location is excellent.
It was about €20 cheaper than the next closest option, so it wasn't the most luxurious, but it was a private room in a great location.

This is hard. I booked a much loved hotel that I'd stayed in four times before over the last 23 years. Expected the slightly grumpy owner, fig tree lined courtyard, bar and Prix fixed french menu. The smell that only old school french hotels have. The new owner was very courteous and the check in was easy. But it was like the Marie Celeste with the soul ripped out of it. All the French charm gone. However, academically, it was 45 euros, the room was clean if dated and it's close to the lovely centre of Dijon. Parking easy.
The feeling that I was the only person there...

The owner and the location is nice.
The room was really small, the wifi wasnt working in my room, shower door did not close properly, there was a mold in the cabinet and the bed sheet were a little bit dirty.

The location was great. It's close to a lots of places.
I stayed for two nights, and there was no hot water in my shower. I also found it difficult to contact customer service for assistance.

Strong smell of paint in room 3. Reception by fairly impolite boy of about 13. Told me to go look in some room for owner, then told me to phone.

Quite a good location
Not told it was under renovation and not able to provide breakfast, said there was somewhere up the road, but wasnt. Property tired and dated, shower unusable, no easy access to one side of bed

You had to hold the shower head yourself it wasn't mounted on the wall. There was no shower curtain in my bathroom. The radiator was barely warm.

Location was excellent, close to town. Easy access by foot
Free parking was advertised, there was no parking. And when the receptionist does not speak English it’s difficult to ask where I will be able to park. The room also smelled of chemicals and the upper sheet wasn’t very clean.
