Ali, the man working there, was super helpful and kind. We don't speak French, but he put up with our terrible Spanish for working through details. The value of the hotel and location is excellent.
It was about €20 cheaper than the next closest option, so it wasn't the most luxurious, but it was a private room in a great location.

The front desk attendant was very kind. It was also cheap.
You had to hold the shower head yourself it wasn't mounted on the wall. There was no shower curtain in my bathroom. The radiator was barely warm.

Free parking at weekends
The manager wasn’t expecting us despite booking over 24 hours earlier on Booking.com. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly, there was a tampon wrapper on the toilet floor and blood on the bathroom wall. We had to ask for towels and were given ones with holes in them (see photo). The curtains had come off the rails and the plug sockets were coming out of the walls (see photo). The whole place stank of paint which made it hard to sleep and there was door slamming and shouting throughout the night until past 4am. The shower was extremely weak and the shower cable didn’t reach the holder above.

I love Angelina, the woman who runs the place. Extremely friendly and accommodating. My room was super quiet with good wifi. The outdoor space is a great getaway from the streets. Completely walkable from train station. through the old city. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a memorable stay in Dijon.

A nice and clean hotel, especially for a short stay in Dijon. Friendly staff, easy check-in, clean and comfortable bathrooms. We loved the fig tree in the garden too. The breakfast is continental, consisting of only sweet options, but goos and nicely displayed.
While the hotel is good for a short stay, I'd say the bed mattresses are quite uncomfortable to be able to stay there for longer. There's a bit of a walk to the city center, but the area has all the necessities one needs – a supermarket, a bakery, some bars.

It's a 10 minute walk to the city center. Room was clean and everything was in working order.
Check in was a bit rough since there was no one present when I arrived and had to call someone to get the access code.

Well located hotel, just on the edge of central Dijon. The room had everything we needed, and was a good size for a family. Comfortable beds.
No shower curtain around the bath shower, makes it hard to wash without creating a small flood. Breakfast was nice, but expensive for what it was. (Though breakfast is optional, so not a big deal)

The proprietor is very friendly and welcoming, the property is very clean, the beds comfortable and the location is fantastic - close to the old centre, across the road from a mini supermarket and a bakery nearby as well as a friendly bar/restaurant next door. Room was also very quiet despite fasting the road.
It’s looking a little tired since the photos were taken, and there is no a/c but a fan was provided which did a great job.

The customer service was great. The lady at the front desk was helpful and very nice. Breakfast was also very good, although basic all the options were of great quality.
The room was a little outdated however given the price there was no issues. The signage for the hotel was quite minimal though and we walked past it by accident.

Friendly, helpful, English-speaking owner/manager. Great, easy to find, location within easy walking distance of the historic centre. Great value for money. Nice courtyard area with seating and tables nestled in the shade of a large (and fruitful) fig tree so no need to always stay in rooms in spare time - useful as we were travelling in a group! Easy to find free parking on the streets around (in late July). A good bonus considering we travelling in an electric vehicle, was a 22kW EV charging point about 100m from the hotel where we were able to fully charge overnight.
As other reviews have noted, the bedding and furnishing is basic/dated but absolutely functional and acceptable given the price.
