Location was the bonus.
The room was very hot 25 degrees. I asked told the reception but wasn't offered another room or even to check any other rooms. Was told all were the same. The window open didn't help either and my dogs were too hot in the room. The rooms should have been between 20-22 degrees as stated by the heater. Had to check out and find another place to stay. Very disappointed.

This hotel was a perfect stop off for us. It was clean, warm and comfortable. Great breakfast and delicious evening meal. Free entry to huge gym next door was a big plus for our teenage kids. Friendly staff, we would definitely go back.

Staff were young, very relaxed and welcoming and above all natural. No fake smiles. Nothing overdone or underdone.
Breakfast was very good. Espresso coffee from beans, other coffee drinks from instant grains.
Croissants, cheeses, yogurts, eggs you place into baskets and lower into the hot water to boil, soft or hard -- on a warmly illuminated self-service island, in a pleasant dining room with windows all around and no echoing chatter thanks to the open doors onto a small garden.
Very close to the northern edge of of Dijon. Tucked away, but easy to find; latitude and longitude coordinates took us straight there. Travelling from Bodensee to Lille, that northern edge was ideal for an overnight rest.
Basically a motel with restaurant next door. Absolutely quiet at night. Very good sleep.
1. There could have been hooks on the bathroom wall to hang up clothes while showering. Very easy to do, hard to overlook (how could they have missed such a simple thing?)
2. Avoid the beer and the plat du jour unless you like paying 7 euros for a draft Heineken (half litre) and 17 euros for an ordinary hamburger or 13 euros for a small 'fish' with chips (French fries) in a basket fit for a handful of pencils. They were snacks, not meals, and overpriced indeed.
