The staff is very nice and friendly. Location is convenient, the town is just 5 min walk from the hotel, the hotel is surrounded by the forest which is a great bonus! It was safe, nice and quiet! Breakfast delivery was timely, breakfast itself was I'd say cute :) It's a classic French sweet breakfast: juice, croissants, butter, jams, honey, Nutella, coffee and tea. it's clearly stated in the breakfast request paper, so no surprises/complaints.
The facilities are old, the wardrobe sliding doors in our room were hardly sliding, there is no ventillation in the bathroom. And I wish there were a few chairs and a small table on a terrace to enjoy a breakfast there! Even plastic ones would do :)

Cyril the manager was so helpful and made good our problems with the room and the situation, he helped by getting taxis for us.
Room was suffering from heavy use and there were several problems that Cyril put right for us

Staff very friendly.
This is not a hotel, it is more like a youth hostel. Rooms are very basic, broken light switches, badly chipped paint work, showers damaged, overall not a great place to stay. No meals available unless ordered, and delivered to the room. We ate in the village. Our secure cycle storage was outside under a fire escape - this is not what was confirmed by the property

Staff was very helpful in providing us with useful info, such as taxi contacts. Breakfast brought in the morning in a bag is handy and very satisfactory in terms of variety of food.

Location is fabulous and rooms are big but that's it
No plates to be found, so if you wantbto eat something bring your own ,
the toaster did not work,
some dusty patches around the stairs together with a daddy long legs,
after 2 showers there was no hot water anymore.
Wi fi, the staff gave me the passwords, but none of them worked. So no Wi Fi.

The staff is quite friendly and give us all the information needed. I think he is not there the all day, he prepare the room keys in advance for the arrival of the guests.
The room was quite big for the family, and is fully equipped, it is kind of duplex apartment actually with little kitchen and balcony . It was clean. There is a free parking outside. Our room was in front of the forest so very quiet, and
the location is quite convenient to travel around la valle de Chevreuse.
The breakfast which is sent to the room because the residence doesn't has a room for breakfast, is basic and sufficient but miss some cooked food, like eggs, or ham or even fruit. They send also the Nespresso machine for the coffee. The furniture and appliances are quite aged but functional, but found some interesting old magazine or books if you like to read.

The wifi was out for the four days that I was staying in Chevreuse which was a big problem. The manager was working to rectify the problem but it was not resolved during my stay.

Wonderful
This is a great place for a stop over or to stay a few days. It is directly at the the forrest where you can walk freely with your dog. Also very much fun for adventures kids. Walking in the area is great.
Hotel les Ducs offers a great room for a family of four and the small kitchenette comes in handy. There was a microwave and electrical cooking device and a huge terrace.
The staff is very helpful and friendly
