The bar area was very good. But, it was Sunday and the only people in there was me and my wife. Just needed people in there!!!
The whole place is outdated. Needs a major overhaul and a lot of money spent on it. The bedroom we stayed in was up two flights of stairs and no lift. Dark and in need of decoration. The bedroom was OK but the bathroom needed a MAJOR upgrade.

The security of my bike, the reception and my breakfast. Like all French breakfast's...it was okay.
No internet, which I was aware of when I booked.
The water was not hot, rather just warm. Just about okay though. I didn't complain as I don't speak French and the receptionist did not speak English.

Our room was the worst room I've ever stayed in we got into the room and it was feezing we had to put the our own radiator on. The on-suit was even colder even when we put on the heating it never got warm. The decor was all patch work paint touch ups (being a decorator i was totally shocked at the amateur attempt, parts of the wall paper was peeling and where there was once a cupboard there was dust fluff on skirting boards and on the ceiling above the window there was holes that they tried to paint over but the holes were still there. We feel that they dumped us in the worst room because we had a dog. Its meant to be a dog friendly hotel, it is aslong as you like to sleep in a hell hole. Weve put some pictures on that make it look good to what it was.

Hotel was closed when I arrived, probably my fault as I was a little early arriving, overall not a problem though :-)

Room was spacious, and the location was reasonably close to the centre.
The property offered bike facilities, but none were visible including secure bike storage. Patrons of the bar had access to where my bike was kept.

Nice big old-fashioned French hotel, had clearly been very grand in its day. We had a great night's sleep. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice big bar. It was the only place open in the town apart from a kebab shop and Dominos Pizza! Good coffee and croissants in the friendly bar tabac nearby in the morning.

Wonderful
Central location in the city. 5 minutes walking distance to the town hall and the old town. Beautiful views around. There is a bar. We didn't eat breakfast. The car can be parked on the street next to the hotel. We had a small room without a view, but it was suitable for an overnight stay. The hosts are friendly. Recommended for a short stay.
It looks like a dormitory and is not cozy inside, but the rooms are separate with amenities.

The staff were very good helpful and respectful, they provided me with kettle normally no kettle in the room
They gave me room number 18, the mattress and pillows and blanket were full of bed bugs they bit me all the night I couldn't sleep at all I had a long train journey next day, very awful experience

Very Central location. Very close to all Châteaudun sports facilities, monuments and public buildings.
Spacious and tranquil bar and dining area.
Sound insulation wasn’t perfect although being a calm hotel it wasn’t a problem.
Shutters on window were good and very user friendly though a net curtain would also be nice.

They even let me store my motorbike inside, the salon. N helped me take it out again next morning
Dinner was a choice of 2 starters, 2 mains 2 puddings,
All cooked to perfection, and at a resnable price
Breakfast is bread, jam and or croissons,
But the coffee was good
