Room was perfect, and had a nice view of the mountain from our window. Relatively comfortable beds and we had enough room. Also the bus stop was right outside, which was perfect. Luggage storage was helpful as well.

I really enjoyed the location and the restaurant.
The coffin that you asked me to sleep in was almost a show stopper. I mentioned that getting in and out of that small space was almost more than I could do. In spite of bringing it to the management's attention, nothing was done.

Location was excellent for my activities, easy access by bus or train, and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good for a hostal.
I was assigned a upper cubicle smaller than it looks in the pictures, getting in/out was uncomfortable with the small steps on the wall.
It was hot at night, a mini personal fan in each cubicle will be a great addition!

Pleasant
Pleasant for the night before starting the tour du Mont Blanc.
We never saw a staff person. We were in the “annex” building and it was so loud just from the squeaky floors. Not the cleanest rooms or bathrooms but it was fine.

Good location to town bus train and trails. Breakfast was excellent. Common area was beautiful with wood floors and ceilings.
Dorm rooms could use a lot more hooks for hanging stuff. Especially in and around the bund bed area.
Bathrooms in dorms were very cramped. The water closet you barely had room to sit without you knees hitting the door and I’m 5’5” tall.

I stayed in a hostel style room with capsule bunk bed and shared bathroom. Understandably the comfort level was low, as expected for the low price. The shared bathroom was clean and spacious. The bed roll and linens were adequate. Light and electrical inside the bunk capsule. Storage locker in the room worked fine for large roller bag.
Ski storage was in a shared outdoor room with heat.
Lock codes provided for all doors, no checkin with staff needed.
The breakfast was adequate to load up on carbs, protein and caffeine. Coffee/tea/milk/chocolate in lobby all day.
The restaurant / pub was lively and comfortable. Good food and beer on tap.
Bus stop just outside to Chamonix Sud for buses to most ski areas.
I recommend the ski rental delivery option, for those with a tight schedule. The ski rental folks fixed a sizing issue, that allowed me to catch an early bus to the lifts on my first morning.
The bed capsule was tight to crawl into. Curtain for privacy (the curtain rod worked well to store wet towel).
Very little room for storing stuff in the the capsule and just a few shared hooks and hangers.
No fridge or coffee/tea in the room.
The room could be busy and loud in middle of night on weekend. (I was exhausted, so no problem for me)
No other restaurants or markets close by. Walk or bus 1.5km to Chamonix Sud. (I walked from Chamonix Sud with roller bag when arriving late and walk to lodge another late evening in ski boots when missing bus. I was OK with this instead of waiting)

The pods are spacious and have everything one needs. Bathrooms are clean
An alarm went off at 4am waking up the whole building and there was absolutely no staff (or a phone number to call). We (the guests) eventually cleared the alarm ourselves and went to sleep, but for me was hard to fall back asleep.
