Was well out of Chamonix and quiet.
Though there were rail and bus service somewhat nearby, the schedules weren't optimal and didn't run late enough.

Great location with easy access by bus and road to the Grindelwald area. Good value for money, host really helpful when it came to advising on the local area, transport, places to visit. Simple, clean accommodation with all the essentials including several shared shower rooms and use of a kitchen in the basement. Nice to have a filling breakfast included at this price.

Quiet and peaceful double room with balcony for relaxing with amazing views. Friendly and welcoming host with prompt communication. Lovely breakfast with other guests well served by our host
Location where property is situated required taxi for us to get to proving to be quite costly. Bus access is some distance away and not suitable for suitcases to carry. Fine if just carrying a light bag.

This was the perfect home base for a few days solo in Chamonix! The view was phenomenal (I stayed in the small double room with doors to the terrace), the bed was comfortable, and it was super easy to take the bus (and walk) to and from town. I slept in, so I didnt partake in breakfast, but it always smelled great. Phil was very nice, and it was interesting to hear his perspective on living in this phenomenal place. They do what they do very well, and its wonderful to have a pretty, comfortable, and affordable spot to sleep in this expensive, crowded valley. Other reviewers have noted that it doesnt have a hotel vibe, but that is clearly advertised and is part of the charm.

I loved the location with the breathtaking views. The area was nice and quiet and the buses ran frequently enough to access the center-ville area easily.
The breakfast was a bit small. It would have been great to be able to have more bread , some cheese and vegetables

Limited transportation (only 5 times a day a bus stopping next to the place) Room very basic, can be improved by bed side light and power sockets.

The owners do their very best to make the guests' stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are neatly maintained, as is the rich breakfast. I have had fascinating conversations with the owner, who is an avid golf fanatic. The location is ideal, located just off a main road yet in a quiet neighbourhood. Nice view of the different mountain ranges. I wish Philippe and his lovely wife every success with the further exploitation of this fine B&B.

The hosts Phil and Michelle are so nice! They met our requests for early breakfasts and were generally friendly. The garden and balcony with view toward Mont Blanc is very nice and there is a bus stop just outside. Very useful with kitchen, ski storage and boot room.
A bit small bed for two guy friends, but it worked for a couple of nights.

Nice, warm B&B, very clean, and well organized. Beautiful view. Attentive owner.
The sound insulation was not great. The breakfast could benefit from more variety. The location, while great in terms of view, is a bit too far from the various ski lifts. The bus stop (except for a bus that stops in front of the hotel 3x a day) is a bit too far from the hotel and the street is not well-lit if walking to/from the hotel in the evening. Should not be an issue for those having a car.
