Wonderful
Very unique property made up from an ancient residence. We had a huge room, yet cool and comfortable. Perhaps a little dated, yet still very charming with a friendly and engaging staff. Great for groups or individual travelers; would be an excellent overnight on a bike tour. Restaurant is seasonal, with an excellent 'regional cuisine' restaurant a short walk away. Good nearby hike through ancient marble quarry.
Unless you're on a bike or your car is tiny, park at a nearby public lot and walk in to the narrow streets. Hotel also has a small private parking garage which was super convenient once we checked in.

Clean and quiet. Comfortable bed. We appreciated the powerful fan on a warm night. Friendly staff. Easy stroll to restaurants. We’d stay again!

This hotel was sooooooo nice. Fredrick was very kind to us and had our lovely breakfast ready each morning. He ordered a taxi for us back to the train station too which was very helpful.
The bed was the best of the trip! The entry could be confusing but we had a local help us out.
Definitely stay here if you can!!

The building is beautiful, the rooms comfortable and well-appointed. The proprietor is welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Secure parking.
There is an excellent breakfast - if only they still had a restaurant for the evening.

Lovely 16th century home that makes for an intimate just welcoming stay. The location allows easy walking access to the entire village. Parking was secure. Our room was very comfortable with a huge, updated bathroom. Breakfasts were delicious and served with panache. Frederick, the owner, was a huge help to us, whether allowing us to use his things for an impromptu picnic dinner or winery visit or dinner reservations. Would love to return.
