Disappointing
Cleaning lady was pleasant
Broken shower
Did not mention in the booking that the restaurant was closed!! Very disappointed after a long drive, especially as all other restaurants were closed with the exception of one which was quite a walk from the hotel
Lumpy pillows
No water bowls or comforts for the dogs even though we were charged for them
Staff disinterested on our arrival, quite dismissive

We arrived about 5:30pm. There was no one there and the door was locked. Someone happened to come by and said we needed the code?????? No phone number to call. So we left to eat. Came back and still the same situation. No one around and no information. Just as we were leaving to find another place to stay a gentleman staying there happened to come out. So he gave us the code to get in but had no other information. We found 2 rooms with keys in the locks so we took those rooms. Very poor customer service!!!!!! Will never stay there again.

A comfortable hotel close to the Canal du Midi cycle route. Welcoming and friendly staff. My bike was stored overnight in the basement of the restaurant across the road. Good breakfast in the continental style. Charming restaurant and half - board option which can be changed with a small supplementary charge.
Check in is late in the day and should be brought forward to 16.00.

Staff member who booked us in was not ware that the hotel took half board bookings which left us a little concerned , although this was eventually resolved

Reception not open until 17.30 which meant waiting a long time. We were not the only ones!
Rather expensive menu for dinner and food not that outstanding.

Good location with free parking opposite. Room was clean and the bed comfortable.
Check in at 1730, before that the door is actually locked so you can’t even drop bags. Unable to adjust temperature in room. Bathroom designed for a child. The shower doors opened such a small amount you had to squeeze to get in. Once in it was impossible to turn in shower without banging the sides. The toiletries was a hand wash, no shampoo. The advertised hair dryer had to be collected from reception which was not available during mealtimes and afternoon. The loo was placed so it was impossible to use correctly and you have to sit sideways. Bedside light not working. All relatively small problems but added up made the stay less than I had hoped. The devil is in the detail and there was a lack of attention to detail. The emphasis seemed to be on the restaurant which I found overpriced for only average food.

Air conditioning worked fine. Very central location in Castelnaudary. All-day free espresso capsules were a plus. Great value for the price.
Breakfast time was pretty inflexible. Rooms require key to lock from the inside, which can be a little inconvenient. No hair dryer in room (had to ask reception for it).

Wonderful
Clean, comfortable room. Great for a night as we passed through hiking the GR. Friendly staff. Appreciated the air con during a hot day.

Centrally located . Very clean. Restaurant was good. Staff helped us get to our LeBoat location by loading our bags in their Peruvian and driving us for free.
It is a very basic hotel. Not elevator to the floors with the rooms.
