Lovely converted centuries old house with lots of period features.
Staff were friendly and accomodating and the breakfast was excellent.
Located in the heart of Carnac village so easy stroll to Resteraunts and sites.

The hotel is a reasonable walk from the beach, passing the Salinas with its white egrets. The breakfast is simple but if good quality. Evening dining is a gastronomic experience and the chef was able to cater for my wife’s dietary difficulties.
The parking is tight but we knew that from a previous visit.

The hotel looks great, the small lobby and the rooms look cosy and unique. The rooms and the furniture have an antique vibe which we loved. The rooms all have cute names, too. Rooms were very clean and the beds comfy, the bathroom was a bit small but more than ok for our short stay. We also had dinner there which surpassed our expectations, the food was really good. The breakfast was also very yummy. We felt very good there!
The staff could have been a little bit friendlier, the lady needed a bit of time to warm up to us it seemed. The parking lot is rather small and is covered in small sharp stones - not ideal for cars really. We had trouble parking because we had to squeeze past some other cars and did slightly scratch our car at a bush. There was another couple that had trouble parking and they actually went inside the hotel to ask for help - they had to ask the owners of another car parked there to move their car so that us other guests could park. That was a bit stressful (because we damaged our car) and inconvenient. So, not the best parking situation.

Very warm welcome by the owner and the most enjoyable dinner I have had for a while served by friendly and attentive staff. The property is decorated very tastefully and so was our room. The auberge is located in a very quiet corner of Carnac, parking spaces on site.
