Wonderful
Very happy with the accommodation which is ideally located, only a very short walk to everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a washing machine. Parking is no problem as it is only about 380m away and it is cheap. The medieval old city is only a 20min walk from the apartment.

The apartment was clean, well equipped and had lovely toiletries. The location was excellent, just off the main square with loads of bars and restaurants as well as shops. Half a mile to the old medieval city. Canal de Midi and train station an eight minute walk away.

Useful guidance was given on getting from the airport and accessing the keys after a delayed arrival. A follow up message the next day says much about the hosts. The flat was very clean, simply but comfortably furnished and wonderfully bright. The bed, which looked almost new, was very comfortable indeed and the bedlinen really good quality. The kitchen was well equipped. It was a delightful home from home for a week and in a really good central position. Alexander could not have been more attentive and thoughtful.
A really tiny thing: I always get myself some flowers on arrival if I'm staying somewhere. Maybe a vase in with the rest of the kit?

The apartment was an easy walk from the train station, tourist office and to the Cite. Central location. Very quiet except for one night where the noise went on till 4am ? The flat was very roomy with traditional french decor, but with modern touches. Extremely comfortable bed, pillows and bedding. Lovely products to use in the shower room.
The key to the 'main front' door of the property was extremely difficult to use, we became anxious each time we returned to the property whether we would get the key to open the door, the 'old lock' needs replacing. The kitchen tap needs tightening. The toilet roll falls off the holder, shower hose has lost its holder. The flat smelt slightly of drains, there was a defuser in the lounge, but it was empty, as the week went on the smell seemed to dissipate. The Monday we arrived most restaurants were closed, but the supermarket was still open. Kitchen equipment is sparse if you intend to cook for yourselves. No cleaning products left to clean the flat, but we hopefully did our best.

A lot of noise from the street outside throughout the night; people in neighbouring flats were shouting. This may just have been because of the exceptionally warm weather, windows open etc

High quality clean apartment on the 3rd floor which is on the top floor. Welcome sweet snacks in the kitchen alongside coffee pods and variety of good quality tea bags. Tristan very helpful in good places to visit and eat out. Tristan also very knowledgeable in choosing wines for the right food and occasions.
Location fantastic, close to the town square where the main eateries are, very short walk from airport shuttle stops, bus routes, railway station, canal and shopping. Close walking distance to visit medieval city for Europe largest medieval castle the highlight of Carcassonne, the main purpose for visiting.
Wifi not very good on the top floor, half the time I used phone data for Internet. An optional choice of lightweight summer duvet would be better for warm days.

Alex, our host made us very welcome from the moment we arrived. The location of the apartment was excellent just off the main square. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. We had a very relaxed few days and hopefully will get a chance to visit again.

Location
Very noisy outside from traffic and the street plus the flat above due to wooden unsoundproofed floors you could hear everything and the 4 men in the flat across the road play loud music every night. Very, very hot and airless, with no A/c which is shown in the pictures. We both woke up every morning with more small bites, mainly on our legs. Kitchen equipment is very basic, only 2 mugs for 4 people. Loo does not always flush, loo steat does not stay up and sink takes ages to drain. Bedroom lighting is harsh, but the lounge is very dim. Sofa is uncomfortable and a bit smelly. Front door has an awkward lock which is really tricky. Sometimes, we could not get in, and the stairwell light goes out as you are halfway up, leaving you in the dark. The intercom does not work and you only have one key. Mosquitoes look to be living and breeding in the shower vent. The shower is falling away from the wall, which mould growing on it, he shower is stuck to the wall with expandable foam and the bulb is not working in the bathroom. The kitchen extractor drips horrible old fat on the cooker when you're cooking. It's gross. The microwave works intermittently. The coffee machine had to be swapped as it was gummed up. It's the worst place we have stayed. It's impossible to sleep due to the noise, heat Mosquitoes bed bugs and airless stale flat. One of the only 2 chairs has wobbly legs. Not impressed. Would suggest you stay anywhere but here. Other reviews must be from friends. Also note the pictures in the descriptions show random images from all the flats in the building, so it might not be the one you book. Eg, A/c or balcony. Avoid!

Chek in was very easy. Great location. And the owner was very pleasent .
The balcony was a great bonus.
Halldoor key was trickey to open. One big poblem for us was the neigbours cat . We could not leave our windows open.
We woke to find the cat on our bed on the first night.Hard for the owner to do anything about the Cat I suppose.

The apartment had a beautiful old world charm and was located in the centre of the new town. Plenty of cafés and restaurants surrounded the property. It was only about a 20 minute walk from the medieval city.
I had no complaints about the apartment.

Perfect location just off the main square in the Old Town, plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants bakeries to choose from.
Lovely bottle of wine on arrival which was a nice touch.
Balcony was a nice spot to sit with a drink and people watch. Exactly as pictured.
Can hear some noise from the street outside because of the original windows (as 99% of buildings there do), bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper
