Awesome location close to the old town, friendly staff, free parking. Delicious and varied breakfast. Very baby-friendly, provided a crib for baby, high chair at breakfast. Great place to stay when visiting Carcassonne!

All was great. However only if we have to be really picky, we wished for a slightly bigger room. We family of 4 could fitted in the room ok. However our luggage were little bigger since the duration of our entire trip is a bit longer.
Yet English speaking stuff were wonderful and very helpful. Our room had minibar stocked with some soft drinks, which were offered complimentary as well. This was a pleasant surprise we were not expecting. Good selection of breakfast with great taste. Free private parking was offered even after the check out time a little longer. Thanks to this kind gesture, we could enjoyed exploring Citadel on foot after the check out. Great location just outside Citadel with free ample private parking is a true gem to find. Complimentary water refill available near the reception. We were very satisfied with the standard and service offered. Highly recommended.

The room was a good value, comfortable and had a great view. Breakfast available as well as dinner, both at an extra cost, but convenient. Within walking distance of the castle. The garden courtyard was beautiful.
Air conditioning didn’t seem to work so we had to keep the window open at night.

We stayed at the Mercure Carcassonne La Cité for one night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was as pictured in the photos. The room was clean and large enough to open our suite cases and move around. The bed was comfortable. The location was amazing, five minute walk to the castle and town. We had a car so the on site parking was a benifit. We would stay here again.

We stayed at 8 hotels during our trip, mostly 4 star and one 3 star. This hotel was billed as a 4 star property but really a 3 star. No shampoo in rooms, no water glasses, no fridge. Even our 3 star hotel had shampoo/conditioner and water glasses. We had a disappointing experience with the restaurant/bar staff member so wouldn’t use them further for any food or beverage during our 6 day stay.

Location of this hotel cannot be beat. A couple of minutes walk to the main gate of the medieval village. Parking is on site and easy!

There is a beautiful and peaceful patio area outside to sit and relax. It doesn’t feel like you’re in the middle of a city!
Overall it was great, but the light switch was very hard to turn on, and the safe didn’t work. However, my sister had another room, and her lights and safe worked perfectly.

Very friendly reception, excellent service, very nice breakfast, beautiful garden and clean swimming pool!!! Rooms are comfortable, bathrooms large with Nuxe cosmetic and nice towels. It was a very pleasant stay.

All the hotel staff are very helpful and pleasant. Hotel has parking and the beds are comfortable. The location is a short walk to La Cite and many restaurants. TV channel choices reasonable. Pleasant garden.
The hotel room was a little tired. Worn carpets and toilet rolls were poor quality. Few seats at pool.

The terrace and gardens were so inviting and well maintained. The room size was irrelevant, as we spent most waking hours at the hotel in the terrace. Boulangerie l’Ancestrale in town (15 mins walk) is well worth a stop.
The room had dark shades as it faced west and on to the garden. Necessary for privacy and heat from the sun but consequently made the room dark.
