Ibis hotels always have tiny rooms with minimal facilities. It cost more through Booking.com that for someone who walks in off the street. Breakfast very expensive at 12.50.

Excellent, friendly staff. Clean and really convenient to walk to all parts of La Bastide and City. Breakfast was plentiful and well provided.
Rooms were quite small but manageable. Mainly the door closing mechanism made the doors slam all down the corridor. This was problematic early in the morning and late at night, but not a deal-breaker.

The hotel is well situated, located on the lovely Square Gambetta, for access to La Cite and the Ville Basse. The 'Le Dome' stop for the shuttle bus from the airport is 100m from the hotel and the station is a 15 minute walk with good links to Nimes, Avignon etc. It is basic but clean and adequate for a short stay. A good breakfast is provided. It is typical of this genre of hotel but in an excellent location.
The room was modern but quite sparsely furnished with no where to place a suitcase other than on the only stool in the room.

I loved the location and the rooms were super small as was the bathroom. The neighbours were very noisy and kept us awake with their activities!!
The room was quite small and there was no kettle or fridge. I prefer to have the window open by there was a lot of traffic outside. The room could have done with a lick of paint

Perfect location. Five minutes walk across the bridge to restaurants, ten minutes to the castle. Slightly longer to the train station and canal trips.
The room was a bit small which meant the twin room was more like a double. Would have liked tea making facilities too.

The position was excellent, everything was within walking distance. The staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were good value.
The rooms are quite small, but not too much of a problem for us. There were no clothes hangers and very limited wardrobe space anyway. The bathroom was a challenge. Very little room to manoeuvre. The other negative is that there are no tea and coffee facilities in the room. However, for the price we paid, it was fine.

Breakfast was good. Staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly.
Bedroom doors banged excessively, so interrupting sleep. Surely more could be done to soften the door closure. After all, some hotels manage it. It will prevent us from using Ibis in the future, it was such an uncomfortable problem for us.

Great location... Just alongside Pont Vieux Bridge and 15 min walk to the medieval walled city L Cit but also just a 10 min walk to Place Carnot in the new town.
Staff really friendly and helpful.
Rooms and bathroom are very small but you really should not spend time in your room on a visit to Carcassonne.
