The staff is exceptional. The Hotel is very clean and maintained. The parking was very good and it wasn't a long walk to the castle.

It was across the street from the Tour de France finish in Carcassonne. Perfect for the race. Lovely, renovated, clean property. Very friendly staff who assisted us with multiple questions about the tour route and parking.

The staff (family) at this hotel were very good and helpful. The room, breakfast and location of this hotel were acceptable, but not notable. The room did have good lighting, which we appreciate.
The location did not seem great, but I think the layout of the town makes it difficult to have a very good location (close to train station, restaurants and the old city; this location does not meet any of these very well). I do think most people visit Carcassonne by car, which we did not.

Just a short walk to the old city with plenty of places to eat or sit and watch the world go by with a coffee. Just breakfast in this charming old hotel, but recommendations for local restaurants were perfect. Carcassonne centre is well worth a visit. The train trip from London was an adventure, much more interesting than flying.
Local taxi service was a little unreliable. Shame there is no sitting room in the hotel

Everything was quite acceptable. The concierge and his staff were extraordinarily helpful.
The parking area was very tight. Trying to fit too many vehicles in a very small space!

A very traditional hotel, well placed to explore the town, very friendly and helpful staff. It was once a large and very grand house so space in some areas is a little tight but overall it suited our requirements well.

This was a very quaint and comfortable hotel. I really loved the special service including bringing coffee and wine to my room. Breakfast was very nice. I would defiantly come back.

The property is a charming 19th century building near to the town centre and within 15 - 20 minutes walk of the old citadel. The decor in the property perfectly suit its style and period and the service was extremely good and helpful. We would certainly use this hotel again.
