The hotel is a basic French hotel. It is convenient to restaurants and other tourist sights and attractions.
There air conditioning in the room did not work nor was there any fan to move air and not have the room be stuffy. I could open the windows but this reduced privacy and added noise.

Overriding factor was location in the Bastide. Free or cheap parking just outside. Few minutes from most restaurents. Good price for the location.
Lumpy pillows & heavy quilt for time of year. Not properly double glazed, so noise not kept out in mornings. No proper shower cabinet & no curtain so impossible to shower properly, & bathing difficult for older people. Stairs had broken spindles in railings, so dangerous for young children.

Nothing this is not hotel it’s a motel
It’s the worst hotel the room smells like gaz I told the front desk they told me if I don’t like it I could leave very rude. Very toxic it’s not safe to stay there I don’t recommend it I call booking didn’t not do nothing about it they took my money and didn’t refund me booking is very weak too

We needed a stopover hotel, and Hotel Central was perfect for our needs. It was close to restaurants and the supermarket.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The location is very central. Public parking right outside is free on Saturday afternoon and Sundays. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had no issues with noise. Overall excellent value and we would stay again!

Fabulous location - easy walk from the station, right on the edge of the old town with easy walk yo the medieval city & castle. Simple clean colourful room in an old building. Small but comfortable size. Comfortable bed. Lovely staff. Would stay here again. Good restaurant right next door.
It’s an old building so pretty noisy - doors being closed, people in the room above walking around, and the toilet being flushed. Street noise was ok though - gets quiet early. Lumpy pillows.

Stayed here with some friends for short break in Carcassonne. We got a triple room for the 3 of us as we just needed somewhere cheap with a great location to sleep and shower and this place was ideal. If you're after somewhere luxurious then I'd look elsewhere but if you just need a clean bed in a central location then you wont be disappointed. Paid far more to stay in far worse and would 100% stay again.
There wasn't any aircon (we knew this prior to booking so it wasn't a problem), was about 25-30C when we stayed and it was just about fine for the 3 of us in a triple room however I'd maybe go somewhere with AC if it was any hotter.
