The residence was looked at very convenient place, close to the center and the train station. Rooms are more than okay, for what you pay.
Our room was on floor -1 and it had a very moldy smell, almost unbearable.

Overall I enjoyed my stay once I moved to N41. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and functional and looked like it had been recently renovated (definitely more modern as compared to N32). The window opened onto a road, but there was a partial view of some hills in the distance and some houses, so better than the first one I had for the first night N32: with no view at all and an aircon unit just outside the window that was very noisy non-stop. In N41 the noise of passing traffic and trains quietened down at night so I could sleep and I could even leave the window open for air. Important thing to note is that in both rooms I have stayed in when the windows were closed, I could hear no outside noise, so the windows are pretty soundproof. N41 may benefit from some voile curtains - for more privacy. Location-wise, this residence is in a very central spot close to the beachfront, close to the town centre. Very convenient. The hosts were very responsive and amenable to requests. That was nice. Although there is no dedicated bike storage, the hosts found a solution for my bike and I was very grateful.
The first room I was given (N32) was too noisy as the window opened onto a wall with air-conditioning units on it, so there was a lot of constant noise coming from those units. Also, N32 had a very strong smell of chlorine when I arrived. It was almost nauseating. It may have been part of Covid enhanced cleaning but it was not too pleasant to have that smell there. The kitchen equipment is maybe a bit too basic. In my case, what I would have liked to have was a bottle opener for wine. The fact that when the aircon is on heating mode it can be switched off and used for cooling for the entire building only (and not room by room) is a minus but I managed to adjust by opening the window when it was too hot.
