Elizabet was a wonderful and gracious host!
The shower gets the floor wet all over the bathroom and the hall, so it was a little tricky to wipe up and not slip.

Nice little garden.
The walk from the city back to the hotel is very steep and tiresome during the hot summer season.
Location is very residential with not a single cafe nor grocery store nearby so you need to make the ascent down to Cannes just to buy a water bottle etc. Not recommended for elderly.
A fridge and / or offering complementary cold
water to guest would be welcomed. In addition this is the first time I’ve stayed in a hotel where even a simple cup of coffee from the machine is not complimentary. Offering such small things and water especially would make you feel more welcome as a guest. The latter also a necessity from a health perspective in the warm weather.

Beautiful, clean, homely property. We stayed on the first floor and had a view of the Suquet, clock tower and the sea. The main feature of the property is the lovely garden with a lemon tree and other vegetables growing there. Elizabeth (the owner), and her Mum are warm and welcoming, along with their dog, Jimmy! A great place to stay in Cannes if you want to experience some of the traditional charms of the area.
If you need anything extra make sure to ask! Breakfast didn’t include eggs, but Elizabeth was happy to make these for us at an additional charge.
Thanks Elizabeth! We look forward to staying here again when we come back to Cannes!
Was not an issue for us but if travelling with older family members just beware that the hotel is up a hill and has no lift - easily solved with Uber and by staying on the ground floor.
