Great location, friendly staff and plenty of nearby options for places to eat. We booked 2 rooms and the staff at the hotel identified we were a family so they changed our room to interconnect with each other.

The secure parking was wonderful. The room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Would have liked a fridge and a kettle in the room but knew that these were not going to be supplied.

Generally of quite reasonable class
There was nothing to really dislike about the property. The problems I had were with the staff. My husband was struck very ill and ended up in Caen hospital for 2 weeks.
I asked the management if I could prolong my stay day by day, as I had no idea, at that point, what was wrong and how long it would be, they agreed, with the qualification that they may have need of the room at short notice.
However, after 3 days, after breakfast, they told me i could not have the room and must go before lunch time. This was against the agreement where they said they would give me notice the day before. The manager became very rude and threw papers at me and stormed away into the office. Another member of staff who had been quite supportive until this point told me I had to get out, and was very brusque. In tears, i returned to the room and packed up. I phoned my husband, who, 10 minutes later, phoned me back with the details of another hotel, where I stayed, with the same day-to-day arrangement for another 9 nights.

I The hotel irself was comfortable but the room was very cramped. My dog had to sleep on the bed as there was no floor space for him
had hoped for a nice restaurant yo have a nice french meal with wine. The closest restaurant about a kilometer away didnt open for meals till late so the olny choisr was the supermarket next door where I could buy frozen meals to warm up in the Hotel microwave.

Very convenient for a one-night stay: easy access to Caen ferry port. Our room was small but comfortable & fit for purpose. We left early so did not have breakfast. It’s an easy drive into Caen & there’s also a very good pizza place within 4kms (L’Artigiano) for a quick supper.

Access all hours- I was looking for a cheap n cheerful (and clean) place as our ferry docked at 10pm and with customs I knew we wouldn’t be checking in till late and getting off c 6.30am so cleanliness, and access were my main priorities. I was happily surprised on both counts, the rooms were basic but spotless, the bathroom was great with a good shower and towels etc. Excellent value for money for a stopover sleep.
Nothing - it was exactly what I was looking for and did not disappoint.

Being fairly cheap we didn’t have any great expectations but was very surprised at how good and clean the hotel was. The breakfast was good and parking was very secure which being on motorbikes was essential. The room was big enough and the bathroom was a good size and very clean.
There was limited restaurants around the hotel but we got an uber which arrived within 5 minutes and a €10 trip got us into the centre within 6 minutes so no problem. We had no contact with staff after checking in but never needed them anyway.

The key given by the out of hours machine did not work. We spent about 30 mins trying to find someone who could help. Not what we wanted at 11.00pm at night.
