Wonderful
This was such a pleasant surprise to find this really cool hotel so close to the station. Apart from the full breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and very good coffee ( terrific value for money) the hotel was also very quiet, clean and most importantly, walking distance to the important historical sites. There was an abundance of good restaurants and patisseries all around too. The hotel staff was helpful on guiding us through navigating the streets too.

Very convenient to train station and car rental agencies, which was why we picked it. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was pleasant, breakfast was good, all in all a fine stay.
No AC control and room was a little warm on an August night. Neighborhood didn't encourage us to want to explore, far from city center and seemed to be a slightly depressed area...

Love the location and the surroundings. Easy to get around for everything. Breakfast is decent, wish there are some vegetable options. Staff are helpful and kind.
The room and the bathroom are so small. We can barely move around. No drawers to put your clothes away. I am a petite woman, average height, feel really cramped there. I was not able to even properly wash my face in that tiny sink. We stayed outdoors most of the time though it was cold and windy. We stayed in the lobby area if we could because we just don’t like the tiny space of our room.

Easy walk to the train station with the tram on the street out front for travel to the Caen War Memorial Museum (2 Euros) and bus connections to Juno Beach (4 Euros). The locals were very friendly and helpful in explaining the bus system. Great breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant with reasonable prices. The room was quiet with a nice shower.
The room had a sloped ceiling on one side that required some bending over to get in one side of the bed.

Staff said we had two reservations for the same night. They provided no evidence of that, but made us pay double. Since it was 10:00 at night, we really had no choice but to give in to their extortion/

Clean comfortable room with a terrific bed and a fantastic shower. Also appreciated the nightlight in the bathroom and the very many electrical outlets for charging devices. The breakfast was wonderful with a wide selection (including unlimited fresh squeezed orange juice, which I’ve never before experienced). Most friendly staff. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the train station, and only about a 10 minute walk from the town center, so the location is incredibly convenient.

The room was convenient to the train station, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and all spoke English fairly well.
Our meal in the restaurant was quite poor. We ate here on the day we traveled from the U.S. so we were just looking for an easy, relaxed meal. We ordered two Croque Monsiers with frites (fries). It was nearly an hour and a half before they came. Well after everyone else in the restaurant was served, nearly all of whom came after us. When the croque monsiers came they were half warm and half cold as though they had not been warmed quite long enough. The taste was fine, but the lengthy delay and unevenness of the sandwiches made for a poor experience
