The room met expectations for a 2 star hotel... no frills. Basic but bedding was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate with a variety of options to choose from and served in buffet style. Perfect for a night arrival and leaving next morning. Good location for visit to D-day Beaches.

The staff were lovely, the room was nice and clean except a broken shower head holder.
Next door were very loud late into the night and were smoking cannabis which stank the whole floor out causing us not to sleep.When we asked, we were given a different room so this was resolved.

The room really smelled very badly of smoke! We arrived late - after having warned the hotel and although we had booked for 3 people only a bed for 2 was made up - we had to set up and make up the other bed with fusty bedsheets! Very disappointed!

One of the bed sheets was dirty and there was a flashing blue light that kept coming on during the night. As we arrived late after the catching the ferry, we were advised how to enter the building but the car park was locked. Luckily another resident was outside and opened the gate for us.

I did not state a preference for parking at no extra cost, but I do expect it. The reason for staying there was to break our journey - there is no other reason on this planet for choosing a hotel on a city ring road. However, the hotel suited our needs. It was clean and comfortable with no pretences and reasonably priced.
