Pleasant
Next to the train station and the car hire office.
There is an ambience outside the hotel that didn't make me feel safe drunks and strange looking people hanging around all day long, the rooms were small, with no air-conditioning or even a fan, it was a hot night and we couldn't sleep for most of the night, breakfast was simple but ok, I won't be coming back.

Disappointing
Central location
The bathroom was just one cabin and the water got everywhere. The beds were uncomfortable and we think there were bed bugs. The window screen was partially broken so the morning was quite bright.

Fair
The staff were very friendly, spoke English which was great. The bed was clean and fresh. Very close to the train station. Shower was hot. Did the job of giving us a room for the night.
The location isn't the best, with a lot of dodgy people out the front due to a bar being right next door, which we weren't huge fans of. Luckily our room faced to the side/rear of the building so we didn't have much noise from this at night. The bathroom was not the cleanest with mold/dirt underneath the toilet flush button. Also no parking available, but parking is available at the train station for €18 for 24 hours. The sink for the bathroom is in the bedroom also which we found very odd as never stayed in a hotel with that before.

Very Good
I knew this was a budget hotel and what to expect. It is good value for money. What was exceptional and made an impact was the attitude of the staff - all 3 we met were excellent. They went above and beyond to help as there is only 1 on shift and have to constantly open the main door whilst being at reception. They give the clearest information, i.e.where to park, where to eat, all in an attempt to make the visit more pleasant. For that, I would rate them full star. I am grateful to all 3 receptionists who showed they had "la patience d'un ange"!
The hotel is located to a very noisy bar, and kids literally hang around outside of the hotel's door until late. Therefore, it is not recommended to take a twin room facing the main street and the busy tram/bus station. Perhaps a quiet note to ask them to step away from the entrance would be helpful.

Disappointing
