Always enjoy our stay here. We’ve stayed lots of times. Location is great. Staff are friendly. Parking really close to the property if you can’t get directly outside.

The location was excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and suprisingly good.
The person on the reception desk the evening we arrived was unhelpful, possibly lacking competent English. He could not help us with a map, although there were plenty of broshures available on a stand, nor an umbrella. Staff on the next day were more friendly and helpful.

Nice room in a perfect location for exploring Caen. Visited the Museum of Beaux Arts and other attractions. Restaurant and bar were very pleasant and staff helpful as our French language skills are slow.
Routes into the town difficult to navigate in and out. Poor town signage especially as one route was barred and very poor diversion signs. The SAT nav could not cope with turning us around and not finding alternatives.

Excellent location to al the historic areas of the town. The castle is just around the corner, St Peter's Church also. The older town not far from these tow mentioned. The Abbay des Dames is about 12 mins walk from hotel and Abbay des Hommes is about 15 in the other direction. All these are worth a visit. Breakfast was good but as soon as a large party had left nothing was replaced. The breakfast area was not really big enough to cope - a bit a staggered approach was necessary. The food was good, but the scrambled eggs were only warm. Our room was at the rear but good size and comfy. Our friends room was at the front opposite us and it stank of cigarettes even though it is supposed to be a no smoking hotel.
Not knowing about the emission zone that started in January 2025, I believe. No mention was made of this and you have to appley for it in advance and have it sent to you! We bought it on the day and the hotel printed it off - hopefully that will suffice and no ticket will be issued! the fine for not having this is about 350 Euros. The cost of the permit is about 5 Euros.

Excellent location, nice modern room with kettle etc. and s good bathroom & shower. Reasonable breakfast
Large group at breakfast which we tried to avoid but coming down later meant thing that ran out weren't replenished. No smoking room.... very strong smell of cigarettes :( Couldn't be moved as hotel was full. Had to leave windows open.

The location.
The front desk personnel during the day. Very unfriendly and not eager to hell you. Only the night shift was friendly, always responding with a smile on their face and helpful.

Location, being able to open large window to regulate room temperature. Being able to store our bags before and after stay.
Very noisy on Saturday night till 4am. Staff not able to help with a few local questions. No bathroom supplies. Paper cups for hot drinks. Not extras like biscuits or water. Poor lighting in room.
