It exists
I found the process to check in after 10pm was a nightmare. I received an entrance code by email some hours after arriving (seen next morning). Why not by text?

Manager was great . Breakfast was good and shower was hot.
Not easy to get in . It was 11 pm and unless you’re under 5’6 trying obese the screen and follow instructions was tricky - for 99 cents .. Out corridor was full of laundry baskets which made it feel like a Stephen King set.

Close enough to the Caen ferry port to break up our long drive from further south in France on our way to England. It was also great that there was an out of hours check in available so that we didn't need to worry about reception hours
I asked for rooms together but we were on different floors. This could obviously be due to a number of factors outside of the staff's control.

The location and the price
No toilet paper in the toilet, Code for the room key didn’t work. Had to get the desk correct reset it.

As expected - we just needed it for a quick Sleep And early ferry - no staff , it was all done via log in. It was exactly as I expected - I didn’t expect much so it was fine for the job

Disappointing
Nothing
Very very basic. No lifts. Excepting breakfast, which I didn’t have , the only beverages available are via a vending machine that wasn’t working
Situated 10 minutes drive outside of town and 25 minutes from ferry

Room was clean at least
We had to check in on a computer outisde and then get into the door with a code. We struggled with the code for at least 5 minutes and 2 members working at reception simply ignored us. They were so rude! Room was really hot despite cool conditions outside.
