Wonderful
The room was spacious with a direct look to the river. Lovely renovation to the old place, that gives the feeling of the old and the new at the same time. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

Unique, comfortable, well kept and beautiful. There are so many things to say about the property but its location and design speak for itself. The hotel is integrated into their large restaurant and another portion of the hotel is 50ft away. Pool, terrace at the restaurant overlooking a historic river with views of mountain cliffs. Incredible views!!

There was a special deal on a combined dinner and breakfast and the food was excellent and pletiful! The pool was refreshing and everyone was so kind.
Our only issue was a lack of knowledge of how to get the shower to work! Could have use a "How Ro Operate"? guide.

I liked this place! It's a beautiful setting on the river. It is a little funky...quirky, but I liked that. It feels like an old mountain lodge. It's had some renovations but most of it feels a little worn but not bad. We had a somewhat small room but it had a beautiful view and large windows and a great deck which we didn't use. The restaurant is good and it's a beautiful serene room right on the river with windows all around. The owner is nice and speaks a little English but prefers French. The staff is also very nice. The beds were comfy. The rooms were surprisingly quiet although that may have been more about us having quiet neighbors. Overall, it felt like a find, particularly for the money and I'd go back. Very close to Peche Merle cave. Beautiful little town as well. La Popie, which was where we had wanted to stay, was overrun with tourists. Glad we found this place instead.
