Wonderful
Fantastic central location overlooking a bustling square that's full of life. Local life, restaurants and foood shops are right there. Main shopping drag, Sainte Catherine, is v close too. Good for people who like city living. Not so good if you're looking for somewhere quiet though closing the windows shut most of the sound out! You need to be fittish, this is three very steep flights of stairs up with no lift!

Location - in a building on a very popular square with lots of cafes and small restaurants. Close to tram stop to the airport. Close to Rue Sainte Catherine pedestrian shopping street.
Lack of clarity about the property that we had paid the deposit on. Were only given the address the day before we arrived. The stairs - were steep, circular and uneven. Not safe - particularly for anyone with any mobility issue. The owner met us at the property and blamed Bookings.com for the confusion about the address and asking for cash for the final payment. Has made us sceptical about booking with an individual owner instead of a well-known establishment. Quite noisy late into the night. No air-con (Not unusual in Europe. No information provided on how to access property Wi-Fi or Satellite TV.

Rather mouldy smell and clearly a problem with the drains with a nasty odour in the bathroom.

Wonderful
Apartment was in perfect location just a short walk to shops and cafes and ideal for what we needed for our weekend stay. The owner was great, our flight times were less than ideal but organised a key to be available when we arrived late at night and sent pictures of the building so we knew we were at the right place.
No air con in the apartment, but these are very old buildings so understandable. There were fans provided for all rooms

Very Good
Location was perfect, right in the centre of the old town. Noisy at night, but fine with ear plugs! It was great to be in the heart of a noisy, buzzy city.

I wish we could give this six stars! The apartment was comfortable for Two couples. And Victor went out of his way to provide assistance with restaurants and travel connections. Bravo!
