You can smell mold in the room. There were black stains on the wall. This is quite normal for an old building. Nevertheless, not 100% pleasant.

Only the location.
The room was very bad and needs renovation. Bathroom is extremely small and when you get a shower the floor and even bed get wet. The bed is very close to the bathroom and there is no door.
The toilet is also very small.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I had a very bad experience.

The location is wonderful, right in the heart of the city and close to all the shops, restaurants & bars. It's a beautiful, old building, very clean bedrooms & bathroom.
Our bedroom was very small and although nice and clean, it was a little impractical with nowhere to store suitcases, nowhere to hang towels or dressing gowns in the shower room. The bedside socket didn't work and so my phone didn't charge overnight which was irritating. Could do with some attention to the smaller details.

The size of the room was very good. The staff were very friendly making us feel welcome. Parking underground was very convenient.
Lack of hot water for tea at breakfast and size of tea cups were tiny. The rest of breakfast was fine.
