Room was comfortable, elevators and staircases were nice, location was great - walkable and centrally located but relatively quiet and set apart from busy hustle and bustle.
We paid for parking but it did not work so we still had to pay the garage fee.

We stayed here during the Fête le Vin (Wine Festival). The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect - central to wherever you want to venture to in the City (whether cultural sites, shops or great restaurants) with easy access to the Quais for the wine tasting. We stayed in a beautiful room with high ceilings and air conditioning that actually worked (a Godsend in the middle of a heatwave!) in a separate building to the main hotel.
No fault of the hotel but unfortunately, I was sick during our stay. The staff on reception couldn't have been more helpful. Importantly, it didn't ruin our stay in Bordeaux and in fact, it made us like this hotel even more than we already did.

Location was great. Was okay not having one room as we had teenagers and they were good with splitting up. Rooms were lovely. Parking was a short walk away.
Stairs when the elevator was not working. We were okay but was tedious after a day of walking.

It was close to bars, restaurants & trams.
I needed to have a lift as I find it very difficult to climb stairs. The details said there was one but didn’t advise only to some rooms. The first room we were offered was also very small. Fortunately the concierge found us a ground floor room which was also larger & better equipped.

Stunning little hotel within an historic tower building. Beautiful room with attention to detail and big windows overlooking the charming little street that leads onto a promenade of shops and restaurants. Everything you need for a city break.

The location
I had a leak in my room and most of the hotel smelt like cigarette smoke and there wasn’t much choice of breakfast

Only the location of the hotel, it is in the center, everything is within walking distance.
1. I asked to send a QR code for parking by email, no one answered the messages, we called once and asked to send the code, the code was not sent, the man at the reception does not speak English well, we called a second time, he said to come to the hotel and then he will give us the code, we had to park the car and pay for parking, drive into a narrow underground parking lot, after that he gave us the code and we had to leave again and drive back into the underground parking lot.
2. The photos of the rooms do not match the photos, the glass is broken, everything is old.
3. There was brown liquid in the toilet, was I supposed to flush it?

The room and building were so beautiful and romantic looking. The room was huge with big window and shutters and a loft that had another bed with high ceilings. The location was central and near great sights and restaurants. Easy to get to tram too.
There was no lift up to the 2nd floor (3 flights of stairs) in the older wing my room was in and it would have been good to have notification of that.

They charged us 130 euros the first day for city tax and breakfast, then tried to charge us another 70 euros the following day just for city tax which we didn't pay because looked it up and found out city tax is 2.45 per person per night so city tax should have totalled 15 euros. We were robbed.

Location was good and room was a good size.
To be honest I don’t like being in a separate building, especially being a solo traveller, I didn’t feel 100% safe. Also I found the walls in the room very thin and was woken up every night either at 1,2 or 5am. I stayed in this hotel last year and in the main building and had a much better experience.
