I liked the design of the room and the hotel itself. Comfortable bed, you can choose between two pillows of different softness. Nice location.
The facilities were not all new. There were a kettle and tea bags, but no cups. The shower noise from our bathroom was too loud.

Great location, quiet and the bed was clean and comfortable. The receptionists and restaurant staff provide an excellent service and very friendly and informative. I was only there for a few days and had lunch on two occasions. Food was enjoyable and offered good value. To share a positive experience, the receptionist who checked me in to the hotel on my arrival provided some valuable information as to the location for bridal dresses, which was very useful as I was in Bordeaux to attend my daughter's wedding, and did buy a dress for my daughter in that bridal store that was recommended.
My room security safe didn't work, and I had to change my room twice. The technician eventually did arrive to fix the safe on the day I was leaving. So that wasn't a good experience as I had some valuables, passport, etc. that I needed to secure. The hotel sent their apologies with a box of beautiful chocolates which I appreciated.

The hotel had a car park.
The fridge in the room didn't work as the plug could not be plugged in as the socket was hanging dangerously out of the wall. The shower had no pressure and did not spray properly- was blocked. The air-conditioning was ser so high that we had to keep the windows open. The shower floor was very dirty!!

This hotel has all it needs to be good but in delivery, it just does not work. Rooms are reasonable sized but the beds have a plastic mattress protector. Add to this the fact that even having the air conditioning on maximum call all night, we could only get the temperature down to 24 degrees. Amenities are cheap (paper cups for tea and coffee and towels that are small and have clearly had many wash cycles).
The location is good but a lack of maintenance and cheap fittings deliver a less than satisfactory experience

Nice area in the Chartrons with a bus stop into the city centre just outside the hotel. Great big comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room.
The rooms were quite dark and the towels were very thin. No bathrobes even though our room was a superior double. One bottle of water between 2 people for a 2 night stay.

Location was great (might have preferred closer to centre as we walked to the rail station to view a plaque my wife organised); food was great; staff were great.
