Pleasant
The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious enough. High end pod coffee maker with pods. Lobby was usually empty so we could hang out with friends for a bit before exploring.
The neighborhood is pretty gritty. Mostly Brutalist architecture that needs a good cleaning. Upon checking in, we were told to take the foot bridge from the parking structure to the hotel. There’s no signage on how to find an entrance back into the hotel. After going all over the place, we found it on an isolated area on the back of the hotel, down two flights of stairs in a back door area that you have to ring a buzzer to get them to answer and unlock the door. It was scary, totally desolate and I would never recommend a woman walk that way alone or anyone at night. The hotel faces loading docks and trash access for the mall across the street. We walked to the mall and the stench of trash was overwhelming. The entire area is rundown and very dirty. Loads of noise from street people at night. It’s nearly impossible to access your car if the mall is not open. We had to leave early am and luckily found a door left ajar that’s usually locked and had to walk up 3 ramps, as there is no elevator or stair access after/before hours, to access our car. We are urban people and used to city living, but this hotel was not as advertised (centre ville) and was not 4 star. Saturday and Sunday any of the few restaurants in the immediate vicinity were closed. It’s a good 25-30 minute walk to the water mirror and 15 to the piêtonne. There is no outdoor space.
They give you a nice coffee maker but only 3 pods for a 3 night stay for 2.

I liked the large foyer area with room to sit and the bar.
Bathroom large and with a good shower and bath. Toiletries lovely too.
10 mins walk to a nice area of Bordeaux.
The location is quite grim, the hotel surrounded by a seventies concrete jungle.
Beds had plastic sheet mattress protectors on them which got hot at night.
Was surprised that on Easter Sunday, the breakfast closed promptly at 10am.

One of the few offering twin bed option, but was pricey compared to others. Location was ok, worked for us but the area was a bit run down. 10 minute walk to authentic Bordeaux.

Disappointing
The stuff is very helpful. Beds are comfortable, it was clean.
Rooms are cold, there is no way to heat room with AC. Clothes were moist all the time. Breakfast - always the same, just few things, no choices. Special dinner for abroad guests... Italian food, nothing french.
