Tasteful interior, the location of the apartment, instructions for check-in. Quiet place in city center.
Description of the apartment in the internet before the booking. We booked a single room with a bath within an apartment with a shared kitchen, living room and atrium (shared with 5 people altogether). Its not a hotel but a pension? We havent seen anybody of the staff during the 3 nights stay, the garbage bin wasnt taken care of on a daily basis

The location of this apartment is brilliant, right in the shopping centre of Bordeaux and metres from a tram stop. Parking was no problem 3 minutes away and was less expensive than we feared (40 Euros for 40 hours or so). The twin room was snug but adequate for our needs. The sofa and TV in the main room was a bonus given that the kitchen and lounge are shared with another room. We love Bordeaux and certainly would come back here.
Another seat or two in the bedroom would have been welcomed although that might take up too much space. The shower was a little snug and a bit slow to drain but it was good to have a walk in shower as well as a bath.

The apartment was really nice. We loved the old Vs new combo of styles. The layout was great.
The room has a/c which is nice since many in France do not, but it didnt cool well. The comforter is very heavy and no one uses a top sheet in France either - so its either no blanket or a heavy blanket and youre hot.

Hard to find fault with this apartment! Perhaps a little more storage in the kitchen, but really everything was fine.

Location was fab and Bordeaux is a great place for a weekend. Lemon drizzle cake was lovely - but odd for breakfast
The place was a bit too quirky and not relaxing. Several doors and codes to enter, strange shared space set up and nothing quite right. Severine, possibly the owner, paid us a visit and, even allowing for cultural differences, was the rudest person Ive come across in a while. She was demanding money - just a couple of Euros for tourist tax, at the top of her voice in French, as if wed just mugged her. It was January so chilly outside but we struggled to make the place cosy. The shower floods the bathroom after a couple of minutes use. I dont recommend this place

Perfect location! it is in the middle of Bordeaux but the appartement is well nested in the back of the building and overlooks the back of the Notre Dame. We only heard church bells strike at 7:am each morning, which gave more charm to the place. The appartement was well equipped with high standard kitchen appliances and utensils. Excellent coffees and choice of tea, comfortable beds and bathroom, spacious living areas open up to a small patio. We loved it and will return next time!
