A nice flat with comfortable beds. The sitting room was light and overlooked a park. Everything seemed safe and secure and was very quiet. The bus stops were seconds away, whilst the tram was a 10-15 minute walk. Both of which gave transportation into the city centre. Its best to buy a block of tickets which are transferable between buses and trams. The tram can be used to get to/from the airport.
The flat is a little distance from the city centre, probably too far to walk. The cooking/dining equipment needs to be improved, specifically better plates, smaller saucepans and some "normal" knives that could be used for spreading butter/jam etc.

Location to the hospital as my husband was there for an operation

The property is very tired. A few small jobs would make the property perfect.
Living room - skirting board not attached property by the radiator, hole in ceiling, needs a coat of paint, coffee table chipped, handles on drawers were loose
Kitchen - no matching crockery/cutlery and chipped plates, freezer needs defrosting
Bathroom - shower very scaled up with limescale, no attachment for the shower, no bath mat so very slippery
Toilet - seat does not fit and loose, cistern didn't stop flushing
Main bedroom - skirting board not attached properly under dressing table, bed side tables broken, duvet stained, duvet not thick enough for winter, pillows not very comfortable
Second bedroom - socket next to bed hanging out of wall, duvet not thick enough for winter, pillows not very comfortable, hole in ceiling, needs a coat of paint
Terrace - very dirty, cushions for the chairs mouldy and dirty

Parking our care inside the compound was a not possible because of small area to move the car. Especially when other cars were parked. Outside the building there was a free public parking.

We liked the size of the Refrigerator
On arrival by taxi to the premises, we could not access the property. Were not provided with the code for the box containing the key to the Apt. Fortunately the taxi driver was able to talk to the owner to obtain the key. The taxi driver then left, leaving us uncertain as to how to open the gate. We then pressed the outside buttons on the intercom of every apt to seek help to open the gate. Finally, someone responded and opened the gate. We then lugged our suitcases up 30 steps to the Apt and a further 14 steps inside the Apt. There was no lift !!!
When we returned from dinner that night we were unsure as to how to open the gate ( the gate being previously opened by one of the tenants) We then sent an SMS to the owner, her reply we did not receive until the next day . . . . . . .panic what to do !!! We considered another hotel for the night . . fortunately we managed to open the gate by pressing every apt intercom button
Our major concerns during our stay of 7N were as follows
1. There was NO “ Air Conditioning “ or ceiling fans in any of the rooms. There was only a single fan which we moved from the kitchen to the bedroom and vice -vera every day for cooling. During our stay in early Sept, the temp. was warm – hot, the single fan was not adequate.
2. The “ Outdoor, wooden table and chairs(2) were extremely old, one slat in one chair was broken covered in black mould. This setting was in such a poor state that it should have been replaced.
3. The “ Wardrobe “ was tiny and totally inadequate to fit the clothes for two people.
4. When we arrived on Friday 1st Sept, we found the fitting that contained the shower head to be broken. We managed to hold the portable shower head to the broken fitting with two rubber bands. We waited until Tuesday 5th Sept for the owner to arrange to fix the shower.
5. The one bedroom Apt with Garden View (34 m2) was only a small area and probably included the internal stairs and the terrace. There was very little room for our suitcases.

Very close to buses and not too far from tram which are efficient and easy to use. Host left lots of useful info in apartment and was contactable to resolve issues.

The location of this property is great. Very good bus service into town centre. Also only takes 20/30 minutes to walk. Apartment is well equipped and the host Julie sent on a welcome pack with excellent information that covered everything.
The temperature was hot and humid. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning. The step up to the balcony was loose from the wall, a potential hazard.We only had one bath and hand towel each for a week stay. However there was a washing machine so that solved the problem. Overall a very nice stay!

We drove to Bordeaux and stayed for 3 nights. The apartment car park was safe / secure, thereafter we used public transport as bus stop was a 2 minute walk or the tram which was a 15 minute walk. Apartment ideal for two and well equipped with the balcony ideal for breakfast. Wi-Fi also very good.

The apartment was clean, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. What I didn't like instead was the table we were eating, you were forced to eat on a stained tablecloth because under the tablecloth there was a table in a state of advanced degradation. And we couldn't watch TV, it seemed more like a radio!

Julie, who met us on arrival, was very friendly and helpful. The flat was very nice. The location for us was great, as it was very close to an event destination (which is why I booked it). It is very close to a couple of bus stops and a tram, both of which took us straight into the fabulous Bordeaux city centre
A very simple thing to do, but could the host please supply a city map which you can take out to the city with you. Otherwise all good.
