Wonderful
Absolutely gorgeous apartment in a can’t-be-beat location. We were at the crossroads of two tram lines and walking distance to many sights and the river. Although central, the apartment was very quiet. The small terrace was a big plus.

Historic building with lovely ceiling. Had a balcony. Bedroom was very quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Trams were very close by so it was easy to see many sights. The couch was also very comfortable.
Kitchen accessories were spread out into different areas. So I had to wander around a bit.

It was a Great location and a really big beautiful apartment. The bed was comfortable and the shower a nice big size! You’re right near a lot of great restaurants and the beautiful cathedral. The tram yo get around the city and from the airporter stops right outside!
A little boost at times with the big doors open but quiet at night.

Location, wonderful balcony. Elevator! Tram stop very close. Comfortable furniture in living room with huge French doors.
.Old floors need some repair, kitchen could be cleaner. (some drips on inside of draws.)

We very much appreciated the lovely large lounge/dining area with period features. The apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. We particularly appreciated the host, Jean Christophe, who was very friendly and exceptionally helpful to us.

When opened the windows mosquito come in n it’s in Main Street very noisy.

Yes I agree, the living room.is superb. I found the bedroom pleasing and the bed comfortable. Slept well. The very small bathroom attractive and the miniscule kitchen usable if creatively managed. The balcony and French windows do much to enhance this accomodation and the location is excellent. The tram stop from the airport is 2 minutes away and sightseeing all around...or futher afield if you have the energy. Bordeaux is gorgeous.
British expectation (but not necessarily standards to be quite honest) not realised in terms of cleaning and general maintenance. I had to wash all the mugs before use as they neither touched as nor looked clean?? I don't use a dish washer at home, so was that the problem...wrong soap or something?? Wall in lav rather scuffed and marked...needs to be refreshed...lav hand basin tap needs to be fixed...bedroom reading lamps need to be fixed...pendant bedroom lights obviously dusty but I understand this is because they need to be dismantled before they can be cleaned...and to this I would say ...errr...maybe buy some different ones as it gives a poor impression... bedside mini shelf needs fixing so that it doesn't slope down...no cup of tea could be risked on that surface...plus various bits and bobs that had fallen off and have neither been fixed nor replaced...BUT....these are all minor issues. My husband found the bedroom airless. Fortunately, we did not experience high temperatures. If Booking.com pesters for reviews, then some of us will point these things out. On the whole, this place felt rather special.

Spacious, well appointed, comfortable, everything needed for a great stay and in a great location close to cafes, restaurants and tram stops. The apartment was extremely quiet for being so central. The Nespresso machine and the washing machine were very appreciated for a week long stay.

Very spacious lounge with a balcony overlooking the street. Great location for exploring the centre of Bordeaux with all its cafes and restaurants. Good recommendation from Jean-Christophe for a restaurant: Deux Pieces Cuisine - very good. We had a great time and would recommend.
If the sound of trams and traffic noise all day bothers you then not for you but we were fine with it. Part of being at the heart of the city. If you were planning to do a look of cooking in the apartment then the kitchen could have been bigger and better. We planned to eat out so not a problem for us.

Super elegant main space with balcony view of the surrounding area.
Fab location, easy walk to restaurants and shops etc.
Lots of space and in spite of the booking app says it has a shared toilet it is a completely private and self contained flat.
The host Jean Christophe was charming and efficient.
Parking was nearby.
We will definitely stay there again.

Great location, comfortable apartment, high ceiling in the livingroom, quiet (end of March, so we didn’t open windows).
The kitchen is a bit small, but we knew this already upfront.
