The location and being able to park in the car park under the hotel which is shared with the supermarket.
The toilet wouldn’t flush and the staff didn’t seem surprised, they just gave us another room which wasn’t ideal because it was a family room that had the bunk bed over the main bed which made it difficult to get out on the ladder side.
The shower was also so high and the angle couldn’t be altered so if you were short it didn’t even go you wet. I ended up using the shower hand held which wasn’t very comfortable.

The property was in a good location, with public transport close by. There was a bakery and supermarket in the area which was very handy.
My room was not ready for booking in and I had to wait 20 mins. The room allocated to my parent’s was ready so they went ahead and I waited in the reception. Other customers were checking in with no problem. I asked the receptionist to explain the situation and was told that it had not been cleaned. I asked for any room so that I could check in and then go out for my appointment. She was rather surly and said I needed to wait.

The room overall was decent. A separate toilet and shower. The toilet was good sized, shower was a typical French non adjustable one which is a real pain. Bed was very comfy. Room was very nice smelling. Great location- very quiet and out the way.
The room was big but the bed was placed where you had to squeeze round the bed to get to the other side. For some reason, our room was still being cleaned when we checked in (3 hours after check in opened). We literally had to stand outside our room and wait. It seems the cleaners clean every day at around 3-4pm and even if you put a do not disturb sign out they still knock on the door. This is a decent hotel, great location, the staff just don’t really seem too bothered. There are no tea/coffee/kettle facilities.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was fairly quiet and not too far from the centre, across the river.
It was very useful to have a map sheet available on reception.
The breakfast was fairly good and the close proximity to a boulangerie and supermarket was very convenient.
A dog was noisy in a nearby room one night, until after midnight. My guess is that the owners had shut it in the room, while they went out and this made it unhappy, so it was whining.
