Location is convenient for the train
We stay at one of the Accor hotels near Bordeaux train station on a regular basis. When we arrived at this hotel we had to pay the city tax which we did in cash. The next morning, when checking out, the staff member insisted we had not paid it and kept insisting we pay it. The implication was that we were being dishonest. I stood my ground, and eventually, he backed down. Ibis, you need to get your processes sorted...this was not a lot of money. However, it is still not acceptable.

The room exceeds what I expected, the size is very comfortable for one person and exceptionally clean.
The receptionist was very friendly, quick, well-speaking English and accommodating even when I checked it late at night.
the location is exceptional. It is just the opposite of the main train station - super convenient if you have to catch early trains.

Bed was comfortable, room was large with plenty of room for bags. Bathroom was good size also. Location was fantastic and only 3 minutes to the train station. It was a little confusing with 2 Ibis motels and 1 Mercure to get the right one. Breakfast was tasty, what I had of it, things were not labelled and they are not all the same as in other countries.
As above. Curtains didn't close properly which was a little off putting due to the street and restaurant below.
