breakfast was a bit disappointing considering the charge but the fresh fruit was good and at least the juice and coffee weren't from commercial dispensers like at the other boutique hotel we stayed at in Bordeaux at the end of our trip

The first hotel room I've ever been in that needed no upkeep. No paint touch-ups, no grouting, etc. To find a perfectly firm mattress is exceeding rare these day, but there it was. The hotel is quite careful about it's green commitments, but there was all the hot water I wanted in the shower. Have I mentioned that it was also just lovely, every part of it? I don't usually have breakfast at home and only signed up to delay going out into a fairly heavy rain but what a delightful surprise. The remarkable breads and skewer of fresh fruit, combined with the excellent coffee led me to take breakfast the next day, as well. The selection would please any breakfast eater old enough to have left cartoon character cereals behind.
Nothing. Would an attached bar and room service been an added treat? Sure, but this is a very small boutique hotel and can't accommodate anything like that.

The staff were so helpful in giving any directions and for suggestions of places to eat. Breakfast was beautiful as well as delicious, and really good coffee. Fresh squeezed orange juice and smoked trout were also part of it, homemade yogurt and fresh pastries too. Facility was secure from the street.

It was cute property as a whole. Nice clean, and friendly staff. A quiet neighborhood which I liked but close to a metro station so easy to get around. Would definitely stay again!
