Superb location, charming friendly and helpful staff, free coffee & water at reception, green credentials, nice breakfast set up
Breakfast was served until 9.30 so everyone came down at 9.20 - which was a bun fight for tables, coffee machine and croissants - staff struggled to keep on top of everything

Simply amazing hotel! Very good location, amazing friendly staff that helped with luggage, fresh free bakery and a complimentary local small cakes in the room, the room itself is very spacious and cosy and clean. It was very comfortable. The hotel also looks nice and neat, very pretty indeed with a great service! Highly recommended!

We had a friendly welcome from the reception staff, who gave us advice about where to go for food and shopping. They also arranged for a taxi the next morning to take us to the hospital for our appointment. The hotel is excellently situated in an exclusive area with plenty of restaurants, bars, and a good range of shops from high street to designer, all within easy reach by foot. The hotel is beautifully decorated with taste and originality.
We stayed in room 101, a premium room which was very comfortable. There is a lift but also a beautiful old wide and winding staircase, in keeping with the rest of the hotel.
The room was a little small but as the hotel is an original old building this should probably be expected.

Great location and friendly staff, eco-minded approach, good size room and very quiet.
Only the bathroom was disappointing but was still manageable. The toilet was very high off the ground for some reason and shower was very small, even for Europe.

Amazing location and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
The room is rather tiny and quite awkward shape, which meant lifting the big suitcase over the bed to get to a space where it can be opened. Did't really matter but would have been hard if I travelled with my husband and we each had a suitcase.
