Very Good
Location was great for the city and they were extremely helping with coordinating a taxi for us early in the AM to catch a train.
Room was quite small for what I was expecting. Bed wasn’t as comfortable. Shower didn’t include much besides a single body wash that I assume can also be used for a shampoo? Comfortable for the price but would have paid more had I known this was what I was getting.

Walkable location in the historic centre, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was lovely.
Room was rather small, but this seems to be common in France.

Let’s talk about a man named Bond. James Bond. No, that’s really what he calls himself! He can easily fix all your soiled clothes in twenty seconds as he can be the auteur of a masterpiece breakfast buffet. He is the secret weapon of this joint and he will leave you not shaken but STIRRED!

Hotel was in a good location near the upscale pedestrian zone. The beds were good and the room generally comfortable if a bit on the small side with a cabinet like bathroom. Breakfast was nothing special. I would say overpriced but that's the way things are these days in France isn't cheap.

The staff was excellent. Ouahiba & Mikala on the front desk were outstanding, very helpful and friendly. They are true assets to this hotel. It was very hot during our visit and the room air conditioners worked great. The beds were very comfortable with excellent linens.
The only downside was the lobby & common areas were not air conditioned. It was not terrible since little time was spent in these areas. The hotel is in a pedestrian restricted area and getting to it by car requires getting into the restricted area. It would have been good to have this highlighted before arrival.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Francais for one night located in the city centre of Bordeaux. The location is accessible to main shops, restaurants and tram. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was modern and spacious with a very large bathroom. The breakfast was very good, with a lot of variety, great coffee and eggs to order. We would definitely return to this hotel.
