Good breakfast, nice staff.
Because it is an old building, the staircase is narrow and steep. Our luggage was heavy (our own fault), so we had difficulty getting it up to our room.

Spacious, stylish, convenient and friendly. Handy for the Musee des Beaux Arts and also for the tram to the airport at the end of our mini-break. Most accommodating to allow us to leave our bags in the foyer after wed checked out so we wouldnt need to tote them about with us all day on the day of our departure. Would recommend.
Minimal breakfast arranged in silly little mouse portions by a member of staff who seemed to be a bit of a control freak. (My only criticism. Otherwise our stay was very pleasant - tempted to return, even if the breakfast remained minimal ( although would be even nicer if it were more substantial)

Excellent location, very quiet but just a few minutes walk from the centre. Helpful and friendly staff. Decent breakfast. We were able to arrive early and leave our luggage and on departure day we also left our cases at the property for the day. Be sure to visit some vineyards. Oh l l organises great tours and tastings!
As others have mentioned, the steps up to the top floor are steep and narrow but to be expected in a characterful property.

Location was ideal, we walked everywhere. Staff were excellent, very helpful when we arrived. We were able to store luggage until check in and then again after we checked out. The host made many detailed recommendations, using a map to guide us toward the locations. Breakfast was filling.

I cannot say enough about Au Coeur de Bordeaux B&B. The room's antique furnishings made us feel like we were really in an old mansion which has lots of charm. The hostess (manager) Letitia was super wonderful and accomodating to all our needs. We picked this place since it was within a 3 minute walk of the Muse des Beaux Arts and as well as the parking and a great restaurant. One couldn't choose a better hotel right in the middle of the old town of Bordeaux. The breakfast was equally perfect.
There's not one thing we didn't like. We will definitely go back when we're in the area.

The location is central and close to most attractions. The house is in a small street and has a very French style inside. The breakfast is excellent and served beautifully and the and owner delightful, attentive and very welcoming. We would definitely stay again.

Location was perfect, close to tram and bus routes. Owner and other staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room was comfortable and clean.
My room was stuffy and windows opened, but as it was on street level I wouldn't be able to leave it open during the night. It was March, so it was OK. I'm not sure it would be bearable in the summer as the aircon does not work.
My room was downstairs by the front door and opened onto the reception and breakfast area. It was noisy around breakfast time and with people coming and going. I was only there for 2 nights, so it was manageable. Breakfast was OK, if you are expecting a large hotel buffet style with multiple choices, then this hotel is not for you.

Bedroom and en suite very comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of variety.
Our first night spoilt by a very noisy party in property opposite which went on all night - although out of the owners remit, this did taint our stay.
